Gabby just looks like he doesn't give a **** anymore. Never do I see him making runs into space or even caring if he misses a chance. He just gets on with it and picks up his paycheck and leaves. Don't get me wrong Gabby is one of my favorite players but there is little to no effort and to think he doesn't care as much anymore to put on the shirt makes me feel sick. Hopefully we don't renew his contact unless he shows some form in the upcoming games. He needs something to rejuvenate him.

He really impacted some games by scoring such as Man City but other than that he really added no flair to most matches. Not a bad player though but I feel his level not good enough for the club if we are to bring our level up. Wouldn't mind if he left but I wish him well back in Holland if he is to leave.

Can we please go for maxime Lestienne? IMO that would be a great signing and if we have the money for cleverly I think he would have the money for him. He is the tricky winger/ attacking mid that we need. He reminds me of coutinho and I think he would be a great asset for us.

I wouldn't mind if Delph was offered 70k per week tbh. He deserves it.

Wouldn't be a bad signing although I'd rather that type of money be spent on a different player but I wouldn't mind if we signed him.

Just took a look at the pic. His shin guards are just really small and low but they are there. Don't think you can play without shin pads.

How is Sanchez playing so far?

Solid defensive performance but the front 3 were completely out of it. Where were runs into space by Weimann, Agbonlahor,or Zog? The midfield trio was limited to square passes or leading our fullbacks. No width from the front three and no space created. Weimann needs dropping and I'm sorry but Agbonlahor should only be used as an impact sub as his pace would trouble exhausted defenders but has zero technical ability. Need Benteke back and Lambert should bring in a dedicated winger like Albrighton who IMO should have stayed at the club. We will struggle to score even one goal a game before Benteke comes back. I think this is his breakthrough season. He'll progress as a footballer and clubs will be after him after this season. He has a great touch, is technically good, has great vision and awareness, and can pick out passes in tight spaces. His role is to sit back and connect the defense with the attack then burst forward which now with Sanchez in he can do that more comfortably. Without Westwood the defense would be so separated from the attack and disorganized. He keeps the speed of the game up and IMO one of our most important players.

What happened to the Argentinian attacking mid we were linked to. Anymore news on that?

I really want Joe Cole to make an impact on this club and when he gets his chance I have confidence he can. Hopefully he starts the cup game and makes a point and gets his fitness in. I would start him and Sanchez vs Hull next week.

Needs to be dropped for a actual skillful winger. Clumsy on the ball and just looks like he runs around without knowing what the heck to do. But he did show glimpses of class as a striker so as backup to Benteke and Kozak would be where he should be in the pecking order.

As long as the clean sheets keep coming I wouldn't mind at all if senderos kept Okore out of the starting line up.

Looked a bit slow when looking for a pass but he just needs to adjust to the game. Looked a bit surprised at how the pace of the game is over here but seems like he has great potential and will be a great signing for us.

But last year against arsenal we didn't outplay them like we did stoke. Plus the experience in this side and Roy Keane will help us stay focused and not be so inconsistent. Instead of signing crap players from who are unproven we have signed players who have showed they are capable to perform. I may be wrong but I am very optimistic for this season.

Love to get gnabry on loan or at least a skillful winger who can create something out of nothing. Our team is short of natural wingers at the moment in my opinion.
