    Not a mention of chairs! The only other thing that he said, was that Mcleish was very good to the people who worked around Villa Park - people in the shop and elsewhere. He talked with them and made players do same. Just a shame he didn't like football!

    Spoke to a lad in the Villa Village today and he said there is talk of a fairly big signing coming our way, not sure how much inside info somebody in the shop has - but I did get told about Petrov in there before we bought him.

    I'll second most of that. If we changed our minds we should have had the courtesy to call both club and player. (Unless said player/club were touting their wares!) I get the feeling the bad egg is in our camp

    If we piss a player off, a buy out clause is not really worth much. Not that I know what is going on however.

    Perhaps Vlaar came over and loved it but Lambert thought he was a tit. Or just maybe we do not get pushed into doing deals just because other clubs want them done on their terms. Who knows.

    The fact is, unless we have significant investment (And I don't actually want a Chelsea/City scenario) we will not be close to winning the title, no matter what football we play. So we may as well go for entertaining, good football.
