    Might not start the first few games but I'd be amazed of he's not a regular starter after that. If Gabby isn't prepared to adapt/fight I think he will go, not matter how much he loves the club. Unless he is happy with bench life.

    I agree Essien would be a good, but unlikely signing. Why people jumped on Mazrim's comment I'm not sure, he did say clearly it was unlikely.

    I find it odd Lambert played him at Forest.(Although his display would have made you never play him again) But it does seem weird how he is totally isolated now. I can only think that him and Hutton are bad eggs.

    I think most of my excitement for the summer was down to Richard, not that I'm having a dig. But reading what Pelty has to say on H&V I'm not expecting anything at all now. I think we will see a number of signings, but nothing more than if we still had Doug. I'm positive about our manager but I don't see Randy doing anything. I think he is interested in the club, but realises he cannot compete near the top four.

    This. We're getting left behind. Horrible to sit and watch, all that false hope after appointing Lambo has left a bad taste. Theres no excitement, feels like we're just happy to rot away like the outside of the stand opposite the clubshop You mean the stand that is only about 35 years old!
