  1. This would be a huge signing if true. Quality player! His performances for Morocco in the World Cup last month were outstanding. As some have said though the sources are a bit shady so I won't be getting my hopes up
  2. Agree with this. From the games I've seen him in I've never seen anything to justify the initial hype around him.
  3. There was also another lad I recall that only moved to England aged 22 to join Manchester United from St Patricks Athletic. Moved to Aston Villa aged 29 and did OK for himself.
  4. Correct. He's a decent backup in a couple of positions. I'd definitely keep him around but I can't see him breaking into the first team considering the options/potential incomings we have.
  5. Thought he looked nervous and really awkward on the ball yesterday when he came on. Confidence took a bit of a hit after the Stevenage mistake I suppose. Can't see him ever being a first team regular regardless.
  6. Best of luck to him. Solid signing for West Ham who I think will get them out of trouble. If he's not part of Emery's plans then I'm confident he has a plan in place to replace him.
  7. It's got to be a striker surely. The fact we've also let Archer go tells me we have someone lined up apart from Duran. I sure hope so anyway.
  8. How have we got this lad? Incredible player. The only way we keep him long term is by signing more top players. Happy days
  9. He did. No way we should write off a player of his calibre.
  10. Delighted for him. I'm happy to hold my hands up and say I thought his days with us were numbered when Emery got the job. He'll play a big role if he keeps playing like that. Perhaps a lesson to us all to not write off any of the current squad until they've had a chance to work with and play for a top manager after a year of playing for a clueless one (Coutinho immediately springs to mind).
  11. Our new manager is a serial winner at the highest level. There's no way McGinn is in his long term plans. Love the guy for the effort he's put in during his time at the club but I've no doubt he's going to be surplus to requirements.
  12. I remember thinking the current crest was horrendous when we first released it. Like a few have said though they grow on you over time. For me option 2 is far better than 1 as I'd love a return to the round crest. However, if option 1 wins I won't lose any sleep over it. My main concern is where are we going to put the 5 other stars Unai is going to provide us with
  13. Woah woah woah.... leave the Hare out of this!

    Unai Emery

Welcome Unai. Thrilled with this appointment. He's got a really tough start but lets get behind him.
  15. Really hope it's not Beale and don't think it will be. Far too inexperienced and we could do with a fresh approach rather than bringing him back in. Emery or Poch I'd be delighted with. I'd lean slightly towards Emery myself because there's probably less chance of losing him within a year if things are going well.
  16. We've been awful before but 2015/16 apart I genuinely can't remember seeing less pride in the shirt being shown. That comes down to the manager. Get him out tonight
  17. Really hate watching us at the moment. Utter tripe
  18. No midfielders at all in the top 3. It's a damning indictment on the current coaching setup. I get McGinn isn't playing well but it seems a lot of our players are falling victim to our complete lack of tactics EDIT: I misread and thought that was the top 3 but my point still stands. Not one of our midfielders, whether they be attacking or defensive is thriving in the current system. In fact every single one of them is regressing at a rapid rate.
