I am in no way capable of debating what kind of job McLeish will get from now on or even let out the slightest bit of celebratory sounds before the sacking of his is confirmed. The blow would simply be too big if it somehow wasn't to happen after all. Please, all good forces. Please.

He would be very reasonable. Can't imagine any player in the Norwegian league having a price tag that really matters. Not commenting on the player though, haven't seen him.

In other news: My fellow Norwegian Ståle Solbakken has just been fired as Cologne manager. He made his name managing FC Copenhagen to great heights including several champions league outings, alas, he didn't get enough time to enforce himself in the German club. Would mind him coming to Villa, actually, that would have been VERY interesting.

well he's not totally bonkers then. He's not bonkers at all. That's what makes it so chillingly terrifying. He's spent the best part of ten years planning this, cynically considering all possible outcomes and obstacles underways. Several traits usually connected to psychopathy are displayed: delusions of self grandeur, pompous and grand visions and plans, paranoia (although not so much on a personal level, but more in a "the muslims are out to destroy my culture and the government deserves to die for abling them"! kind of way), extreme ego centrism, megalomania, total lack of ability to connect with other people on an emotional level, lack of empathy. The last two might go some way to explain how he managed to end up capable of doing (and indeed doing) such atrocities. He's made himself unavailable for other persons, other thoughts, never exposing himself to alternative ideas, never having his increasingly twisted world view and ideas challenged. All his actions has been deliberate and considerate, leading up to this expressed goal. The thinking behind is obviously perverted and insane, but the guy himself? He knew exactly what he did. All the way. One cold, cold fish. That's really what gives me the shivers.

Not that surprising, I'd say. Remember the Oklahoma City bombings in '95. We Norwegians surely have our fair share of lunatics, too. Personally, I began to wonder when the reports about the Utøya shootings came in - a political youth gathering would hardly be a target for international terror groups. I'm with that line of thought. In the night my wording become very clumsy. What I meant was surprising to many, since their first, and more or less automatic, response when news of the attacks came about was "islamist terror!" More than 80 young people simply executed with cold blood. This is beyond horrific.

As many as 30 may be killed or heavy injured at Utøya, as bodies are recovered around the island. The person taken into custody for the killings is a Norwegian citizen, also ethnically. Surprising, I must say. The dude has definitely made a good case for being Norway's most hated person. **** me.

What would you say is a suitable amount of overrating?
