People need to get out of the mindset that he'll see a move as his final move. A transfer to Liverpool for Benteke is just another stepping stone. They're higher profile, get more coverage, have more fans and he's more likely to get a move to a really big club from them than from us. That's just the way of the world

Both they and Benteke (I'm sure) would reckon that adding him to it would be worth 25+ goals a season, which in turn could equate to an additional 8-14 points over the course of the 38 games. I agree. However if we're starting small and working up, then 14 wins is the target for next season. Get that, and you're unlikely to be lower than 10th
