  1. Is that bit in bold serious? Also - national socialism was evil, but it would wrong to assume all nazis were evil people. Same goes for religion and the religious. To paraphrase Richard Dawkins 'of course not all religious people do bad things. But religion can cause otherwise decent people to do bad things'. It concerns me greatly that someone in a position like George Bush takes a 'consultation with God' as a major part of his decision making.
  2. Er... no I put 'war' clearly in inverted commas. I would never advocate removing religion by force, just by reasoning. Let's face it, if everyone was left to their own devices with a decent education in this age of science instead of having their particular brand of myth pumped into their head from birth, then no one would believe this crap.
  3. I don't really care what the basic christian message is. Any more than I care about the constant message pushed out about Islam being the 'religion of peace'. I look at what they do and preach. Christianity has caused immense harm in the world and still does (contraception in Africa for one). Problems between Hindus and Muslims have killed millions. The less I say about Israel the better. All religions are incompatible. Their basic premise is you're wrong and I'm right, I'm going to heaven, you're not. And yet they're ALL batshit crazy. I'm not going to pull punches and be all PC about it. You have to have a seriously compartmentalised brain to believe the crap in any holy book. So yes, I stand by my claim that I question the mental health of anyone religious. Obviously it depends on the depth of their faith - it may only be a mild form of brainwashing for some, but if they believe the any of the creation myths for example they're deranged in my book. We need an all out 'war' on religion in the hope that common sense prevails. In the UK alone we could get rid of all religious schools and put a massive emphasis on science subjects. Education alone could rid us of this poison once and for all.
  4. Spot on. The thing is, these areas are incredibly tribal. The one thing that unites them is their hatred of the west and our governments are doing there utmost to fuel this. Let them get on with it and they'll happily go back to kicking the crap out of each other again. But what we want and TPTB want are two different things.
  5. I believe some of this was fairly aimed at me. I don't think it's straying at all. I think its highly relevant. The west rightly believe that these guys are nutters because they think they'll end up with 42 virgins after ascending to heaven on a winged horse. But who are people like Blair and Bush to judge if they think they can 'talk' to God via prayer and that a stinking dead man rose after 3 days? If this world is to survive and kick on then we need to do this by dragging it into the 21st century and that means getting rid of the medieval mind-poison that is religion. We can only do that by setting an example. 'Christians' dropping bombs on Muslims will only be construed as a crusade.
  6. As it happens, figures out today prove that chart is rubbish. And yes, by definition, if anyone has a faith (believing in something without evidence) then I don't trust their mental reasoning.
  7. If he's religious (of any denomination) he's got mental problems in my book. And I'm not just being provocative.
  8. There are two very good reasons and I'm not saying either of these are true but maybe a combo of both are. 1) Whether under the direction of CIA or not There are those who simply hate the west regardless and the puppet masters simply turn a blind eye. 2) False flags of course. For anyone who thinks the powers that be don't conspire to kill their own people to get what they want: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods I'm of the opinion that the former is closest to the truth. Situations are engineered to provide 'suitable' outcomes. This then gives TPTB the mandate to do whatever they want for our 'protection'.
  9. Billy connolly once said something in his routine about not dropping bombs on 'terrorists', but instead dropping books. To paraphrase "If you only read one **** book how do you think you're going to turn out?" He has a point - aid and education will win hearts and minds. Keep the neo cons and the bankers out of the Middle East. They've **** it up for decades. ISIS is nothing more than a CIA/MI6 creation backed by Saudi Wahabi-pushed money. The ultimate aim is to get rid of Assad so it can implement another Rothschild run banking system AND control the oil supply into Europe - Russia under Putin (and maybe backed by China) will NEVER allow this. Russia alone could destroy ISIS if left alone, so ask yourself why they don't just let them get on with it? Libya, Iraq, Russia, Syria and China (amongst others) all have one thing in common = they want or wanted to break away from the petro-dollar. As we can see, America will go to war before they allow this. I don't watch MSM news very much. I don't believe ANYTHING the government tells me though their mouthpieces.
  10. Yep, Seems like another life. Can't imagine it now. If the current Villa situation can't get me back on the source then I think I'm safe for now.
  11. Ha no....... that face has seen a few shandies though.
  12. I see the war mongering tory pig shagger has got his way and is now going to help prop up the petro-dollar, by removing Assad sorry I mean help defeat ISIS by killing loads of civilians and creating more bitter and twisted freaks. Well he couldn't let that other tory Blair get all the kudos could he. It'll all be over by Christmas...... ......2035
  13. I used to do a litre of vodka every day or other day, pass out and still go to work. The very example of a functioning alcoholic. I don't miss those days. In fact I can barely remember them.
  14. So when a club requires points to avoid relegation it needs good honest battling hoofers to get the required points but in order to progress further (get more points) you need more skilful players. I've never seen the logic myself. We need the likes of Ayew, Gil and Grealish to turn up. We'll probably still get relegated. Without them we're gone anyway. There's no hoofing our way out of this.
  15. Believing something doesn't make it happen. Bit like God. (Cue images of PG).
  16. I'd rather watch him than all the other hoofers we have put together. I don't care if he's lightweight , just give him the **** ball as a number 10 and let him have a decent run.... we're going down anyway. And maybe if we started to produce some genuinely gifted 'lightweight' players of our own our national team wouldn't be so consistently shite.
  17. 'Luxury player' Possibly the footballing terminology I hate the most.
  18. Sorry, but it's this exact thinking that makes the PL so overrated and the national side such a bag of shite. Barcelona reserves would walk our league with ten games to spare. Meanwhile we have Gabby and Gestede. Every WC early-exit embarrassment we say our coaching is prehistoric, then nothing changes.
  19. Actually, if we do stay up playing Garde style I can see a lot to look forward to. If we did it Lambert style again I'd agree
