  1. I'll not be doing it as I have a big **** off beard at the moment and I aint shaving it off for anyone
  2. Had dogs all my life and never had a sign...well there was one on our old back door but I am pretty sure that was there when we moved in. In all fairness the only people who should be going into your house are people that you invite....surely you would warn them of the risk's then and if they are a burgler then **** em, old rex can have a manburger for dinner tonight
  3. I've got these on the go at the moment, I am most looking forward to 'the twelve' and 'exit kingdom' at the moment although I am working my way through the stand before even looking at the others cuz its a 1400 page monster and knowing stephen king it have a fair few lull's that will be difficult to get past
  4. what the **** man, I have just started that ultimate team thing I was doing the online season where you have to get promotion, only just started and my record was 2-1-1 my team s still really shit cuz I haven't got any packs or nothing to help me out but I was enjoying it and slowly sorting them out, then BANG it drops me into a match with some word removed who has a team full of tevez's and RVP's and has a team chemistry of 100 and 5 stars I got absolutely battered surely they should separate the new starters from the pro's until they are in the same league or something really **** annoyed me that has, it sucks all the fun out of the game, I was getting settled to stay on it all night but if that's what it does to you I dont know if I can be arsed. The other games I had played were all against similar standard teams and they were all pretty close but that was **** ridiculous
  5. I got back from the gig yesterday, it was nowhere near as good as when I saw them there a few years ago (mind you they played the entire ladies and gentlemen album that time and they had a full choir, that was easily the best gig I have ever seen) yeah I said exactly the same thing to my mates afterwards about too many melodic songs and not enough racket. the sound in there didn't seem quite up to the last gig either and it was far from sold out still a cracking weekend though ****************************** just remembered as well...what the hell was with the big screen? what has happened to the amazing light show that **** blinds you that they are famous for???
  6. yeah I love country and southern rock, pretty much the only stuff I listen to these day's cant wait for spiritualized on Thursday now, gunna be a cracking gig that will
  7. I only have one proper shirt, I only dig that out for weddings, funerals or work events when I cant get away with wearing a polo shirt rest of the time its polo shirts or t-shirts
  8. I own one pair of shoe's, one shirt and 3 pairs of trousers I have got 3 pairs of trainers, one pair that are absolutely battered which I wear when I am doing mucky stuff, another pair which are battered but still acceptable to be worn to the local pub on a sunday afternoon and another pair which are well on their way to being battered but they are the best I have got cant stand buying clothes, trainers or anything like that
  9. trying to learn how to play 'life on mars' by David Bowie **** me man its slow going
  10. nope it is true, antonio tarver said ''sad but true I just confirmed it myself from someone close to the family R.I.P. to one of the greatest Emanuel Stewart''
  11. bloody hell another truckers fan??? I have never met anyone else that has even heard of them let alone want's to see them live. I'm a massive fan of them been listening to them since they released the dirty south and now I've got the whole discography
  12. I didn't mind she was quite chatty and I know how annoying it can be when you get some dickhead on the phone at 4:59 who keeps you there for 20 minutes when all you want to do is get out of there, it wasn't like she was keeping me from doing anything important
  13. I have just had a completely random phone call from vodafone, some bird called me and tried to get me to have a FREE Ipad, which would ultimately end up costing me £35 a month or sommet like that, I told her I didn't want anything that would cost me money so unless any of the ''discounts'' she was offering me were going to save me money instead of cost me more then I wasn't interested so far so good, just a typical call from vodafone...then the bird says ''could you do something for me then? could you just talk to me for 10 minutes until I finish work'' I told her I would and we ended up chatting about absolutely nothing for 10 minutes from our brief conversation I found out that she is from Manchester has only ever been to Blackpool and London (once) she hates coronation street, like's RnB music, lives with her parents and has a dog, she doesn't take it up the wrong'un her name was Kerry I would probably get the sack if I asked a customer to ''just have a chat with me for 10 minutes before I finished work''
  14. oh and when I say I would buy one for £15/£20 its not because I am tight its just that I don't think it would be worth spending £80 to buy a book once every few months for it
  15. I would never trade in a good old fashioned book for a kindle. I know a few people who have bought them purely because the ''wanted'' one, I explained to them that I wouldn't want one for a few reason's 1-I just love the feel of a proper book, especially old ones that have been read a fair few times, its like the books have character, it doesn't matter how many copies there are in the world there will never be another one like the cope you own, that smudge on page 174, the crease in page 83, the fold in the spine etc etc. An old book has personality and each book feels different. 2-I don't have to worry about breaking a book 3-If I do somehow manage to destroy a book (spill something on it maybe) then I know that a copy of it will only cost me about £7 4-If I lose my book (I don't know leave it on the train or in the pub or something like that) again it will only cost me about £7 to replace it 5-I don't have to worry about sitting on the bus going home and having some thieving bastard attempt to mug me for it because even though they cant read they know it is worth about £80 6-As you have just said when I buy a book I own it, it sounds like that isn't the case with a kindle I don't criticize people who do have them, they just aren't for me. Also two of the people I mentioned earlier who ''wanted'' one, well one of them bought it and read 2 or 3 books on it and never touched it again and the other dropped it and broke it within a week of having it then replaced it and read 2 or 3 books on it and never touched it again. I think that some people think that even though they had no interest in reading before if they buy a kindle they will all of a sudden start burning through a book every two day's, its not the case either you are a reader or your not Don't get me wrong if I traveled a lot with work or spent a lot of time abroad or went on loads of holidays then they would be perfect. the only thing that annoys me is that there are an awful lot of books which are self published that I often see and would quite like to read but are only available to download on a kindle which mean's I cant get them, If you could get a kindle for £15/£20 then I would buy one purely for the ''kindle only'' books.
  16. I watched Killer Joe yesterday (after reading what everyone was saying about it on here) good **** film man, pretty **** up at times
  17. just started the second series of Homeland thought the first one was pretty good and was a bit pissed off with the ending, got three episode's to watch now
  18. yeah the straight right that he copped morales with really hurt him, I think you are right about Alexander beating brook but at the same time I don't think Brook will be too worried about getting into the ring with him
  19. I'm watching ''smiley'' at the moment, **** knows why I put it on in the first place but it is amazingly bad
  20. yeah Alexander and Bailey were awful a real bore fest, the second fight was pretty good, cant remember their names for the life of me now, I didn't pay much attention to the Malignaggi fight because I was kind of in and out of the room doing other stuff. Morales is definitely one of the greats of our time, I'll never forget them wars with Barrera they were magnificent fighters, they said before the fight that Morales has money troubles I find that hard to believe after his career but if it is true I just hope that doesn't mean he is going to try to keep going
  21. wow I think that will be the last we see of Morales fighting anyway. horrible punch that he got tagged with, I still don't think that Garcia is all that great but one thing you have to say for him is that he has got an awesome left hook on him
  22. I think I remember you saying a few pages back that you were going to see JJR and I said that I would really have like to see them live as well. I'm glad it isn't just me that despises the new academy, I went to see the drive by truckers there a while back and you could tell that the band were being hampered by the awful sound in there, really is one of the worst sounding venues I have been to, you are right as well about the toilets and the bar, I would recommend anyone to avoid the place unless there is no where else to see your fave band
  23. Only just got home missed the fight but I have seen the highlights, looked a good punch that put him down especially considering it was a jab, I said before that Hector wasn't any mug but it would be a good confidence builder for brook after his last fight
  24. my mate has just phoned me and called me a sneaky word removed me and his missus organized months ago for 6 of us to go to Newcastle to see spiritualized at the sage for his birthday and she has just gave him the tickets, he is Buzzing about it as its less than 2 weeks away but he doesn't realize that his Dad has got seats directly behind us (his Dad lives in Scotland so he only gets to see him once or twice a year) it was a win win situation for me cuz the truth is that it was just a very convenient coincidence that the gig fell around his birthday cuz we would have ended up going any way and it is a good excuse for a 2 day piss up with the geordie's.
