yup its not a good place to be (I know this is off topic but ah well) my night has consisted of me wearing a onesie (that looks like a monkey) because I am too tight to put the heating on (I can actually see my breath it is that cold in here) having ham on toast for dinner because I am trying to save the actual food I have for the next week having to drink IRNBRU because I am conserving my milk for my morning cup of tea for tomorrow and sunday its been a pretty shitty month money wise

I haven't done a pub quiz in ages I think the last one I done I got thrown out of I was pissed up and thought it would be funny to shout MADONNA as the answer to every single question how many stars are on the american flag MADONNA what is the capital of England MADONNA etc etc anyway the bloke reading out the questions was getting rather pissed off with me and threatened to kick me out so I shut up for the next question, all was going well until the one that followed it was something along the lines of who sang the theme tune 'beautiful stranger' as the soundtrack to austin powers the whole pub went silent and everyone turned and looked at me and I couldn't let them down so I shouted out MADONNA at which point the whole pub burst out laughing and the bloke complained to the gaffa and I got kicked out to a chorus of boo's from everyone who was in there

**** hell its getting desperate when its a Friday night I still have 10 days till pay day and rather than a few cans and a curry I am contemplating ham on toast for dinner my main decision now is a pint of IRNBRU or a cup of tea

yeah but hust ham...I dont fancy a ham sandwich just hamm on toast, no cheese

can you have ham on toast? I have never really thought about it and it seems wrong...has anyone ever tried it? I know it doesn't sound disgusting its just something have never even contemplated mite have to give it a try

Ha, nah he wasn't saying that it would make you worse off, he just seemed to think that spending 3 hours of your own time after work for example wouldn't be worth the extra money that you would take home. Or something like that

ok then, when working overtime will the tax man rape your more if you work more hours? someone at work mentioned the other day that you have to do 10 hours to make it worth your while then you may as well stop unless you do 20 because the amount of tax you pay will make it worthless and if you do over 20 you need to do 40 to make it worth your while etc etc I dont know how it works to be honest but there has been some debate about it and no one seems to have a definitive answer any one able to clear it up (oh and if it means anything I work a bog standard 35 hour week)

as far as lovefilm and netflix go I think they are both shite, apparently though netflix is good if you are more interested in series of things, plus I heard that if you do something to the settings on your PS3 to make it think it is American then you can access all of their stuff which is supposed to have a hell of a lot more on it. anyway, just been watching homeland series 2, up to about episode 6 or 7 I think, I'm enjoying it but I know this will be the last series I watch because it will just start dragging on into series after series after series .

aha but is it king of the day? dont you get like a double bacon cheeseburger for £1:99 or something, by asking for a double bacon cheeseburger without the bacon he may still get it at the cheaper price. thats the only reason I can think of anyway, plus I think that thursday's king of the day is the rodeo burger or something like that...my argument is flawed

dunno if I mentioned it before but when I was in Newcastle last month we went to a pub and had haggis scotch eggs, absolutely **** amazing they were haggis scotch eggs pigs ears monkfish cheeks each of them were lovely. anyway just had a curry that I cooked yesterday, and I have finally nailed it, I am well chuffed with myself, just the right amount of sauce nice and hot (loads of chillies in there, chopped and whole) I now pronounce myself a fully certified chef

that is no where near angry enough for one of my rants

Off work today, been firing out of both barrels since 2am. Worst thing about it is that I feel fine at the moment. Phoning into work and actually sounding chirpy whilst telling them you nearly shit yourself whilst honking down the bog feels wrong.

Apparently if it is a boy they are going to name it after one of Williams old relatives...Personally I think Adolf is a horrible name for a baby

with fights like this I always end up watching the crowd rather than the fight there are 2 birds who are talking across 2 blokes and have not watched a second of the fight, even now they look like they have stopped talking but the one is not making any effort to look interested at all

the fights are taking place at 2 different venues price at aintree (I think) flintoff at MEN they had to take into account that they are both being shown on the same channel and the Price fight could have gone 12 rounds, they cant turn around and say ''ok the freddie, Price has just sparked his man 1/2 hour before we were expecting so get out their right now''

fair enough, I once mentioned a stream in the match thread and got a 24 hour ban and have avoided mentioning it since

you will probably find they were hoping the Price/Skelton fight would last more than 5 minutes
