Are we down to 9 men? I've defended Sherwood a lot over the season as I thought I could see what he was trying to do even through the bad performances but this has been been absolutely atrocious, make a change!

We battered them in the semi final by pressing them and attacking, why has he set-up so differently. Boggles the mind. Sinclair should have done better there.

Hate to say it but Sinclair has more than the occasional n'zogbia moment.

I think he's set us up to frustrate them and get the fans on their back and them feeling under pressure. This obviously went out the window with the early goal and it kind of went out the window, although this doesn't excuse why a change couldn't be made inplay, in emphasis and tactics at least. I'm expecting (hoping for) a lot more positivity in the 2nd half, they aren't that great at all shown by the fact we should really have scored even though we have made zero effort to attack.

Terrible performance. Certainly not helped by some absolutely diabolical refereeing, every time we win the ball back and looked to attack we'd be cynically hacked down to be given nothing, unsurprisingly not mentioned by commentators either. We're still well in this at 1 nil, get more bodies forward to support Gestede, maybe bring another attacker on and hope the ref will stop being such a red word removed.

Lucas on Gueye there is a prime example, they'd get that as a free kick if roles reversed no doubt.

Keep it tight from the get go, get the 'famous' Kop on their team and Rogers back and then bring on Adama and co, win is all but guaranteed.

They've finished in the top 4 once in the last six years and that was almost purely down to being carried by one of the best strikers in the world. Very large gulf in quality between their squad and Chelsea, City, United and Arsenal's IMO.

This is a West Brom side which has kept 14 clean sheets in their last 25 Premier League games, 4 in the 6 games we've played this season. We're missing, arguably, our best midfielder and one of our most exciting direct attacking players. I don't think us not scoring today is simply down to Sherwood not being good enough.

They are such a horrible team. Park the bus and try and grab a lucky goal, reminds me of us under Lambert, expect they can actually defend.

Clearly in the minority but I actually thought the subs were fine at the time. As I saw it, Ayew was bought on for the fresh legs and extra pace both in tracking back, as Gil was easily getting out run, and getting forward when we were countering, as you'd expect we'd be getting a lot more space as they were heavily committing players forward. And Gestede was bought on to try and retain possession from our aerial clearances and to make the ball stick. Unfortunately it didn't work out, partly due to the fact fact we kept giving them the ball back due to poor passing and individual errors, which can hardly be blamed on Sherwood as we were doing the basics fine in the first half.

I thought he was good until he lost his head and did the chuckle brother double act with Bacuna which led to the corner from which they got their first. Everything just fell to shit for everyone after that.

Yes which isn't shared by the population there hasn't been an apology from. I'm guessing the post is in comparison to the expected condemnation from Muslims for atrocities committed in the name of their faith but I'm failing to see the relevance.

Today we've had a seven person pedo ring busted and convicted, plus nazi nutjob Zak Davies convicted of attempted murder. haven't seen one white person apologise yet or explain what they are doing to stop it Did they all share a common belief in the name of which they committed these acts?
