Can't stand him and want him gone ASAP. Saying that though if we can't sell him or whomever the manager is, deems him vital to our promotion bid I'll begrudgingly wipe the slate clean and get right behind him (well at least till Xmas). The atmosphere (rightly so at times) has been so toxic at Villa Park, the club need the fans to be 100% behind the team. IMO this is year zero and start hopefully of a new era. Still thinks he shit though

Will you go on about how we should of got Pearson if we lose and derby win? Is this something you will go on about for the next year ? I think Pearson is a massive prick and I'm glad he won't be near us, that said if he had (unfortunately) ended up here I would of got behind him 100% like I have with all villa managers.

Makes sense as Naming rights deals are means tested against other deals within the league. As as we are not a prem team anymore DR X couldn't just get one of his companies to sponsor us for say £5-£10 mill per season to circumnavigate FFP or whatever it's called down there. Derby get £700'00 per season from ipro for example. Best wait to we are an established top half prem team before considering selling our history.

Just wildly speculating but I wonder if the potential new Chinese owners would consider buying out the under armour deal and replacing it with Chinese manufacturer Li-Ning. Not for the up coming season but the season after. Doubt UA would care about losing us and it would provide the Chinese brand an international audience. As I said just bored and speculating.

Depends on our new potential owners and their wealth and ambition. If what Hollis said is true about the potential new owners ambitions then I'd wouldn't dismiss Rodgers completely. Worth a punt @ 50-1 on William hill that's for sure. Just put money £50 down on him so watch his odds tumble!

So much can change so quickly in football. Can't see Rodgers having too many options this summer. Swansea seems closed off. Everton won't go near him. Poss Southampton if koeman is tempted away. Celtic ? Or the chance of rebuilding Villa in our new golden era . He seems to tick most boxes for me.

I see Rodgers is being linked with WBA. Surely with new owners and with even being in the championship we are a bigger draw. He got Swansea promoted playing attractive attacking football. Did ok at Pool. And I believe he could get the best out of out attacking talent.

Rodgers it seems isn't getting the Swansea job, I wonder if his ego would drop down a league if our new owner is a gazzilionaire? Would prefer him to Pearson, McCarthy, Bruce, Hughton etc by a country mile. Hard choice between him and Moyes in my eyes though.
