  1. For me every manager deserves one window to bring their own players in. Sherwood was given that luxury. Then they can be judged fairly. i don't want to see half our team pull on our famous shirt ever again after this their disgraceful performances this season. Lescott, Richards, Bacuna, Agbonalahor, Sinclair, are not fit to be given a second chance. The lack of effort they have put in is beyond forgiveness. You can blame Remi to a degree no denying but the lay the blame fully at his door is just wrong in my eyes. Once the players cross that line they should play for the badge and those sack of shit have all been guilty of not doing that whilst picking up there fat wages. I don't any of them being given a second chance by a new manager after the utter contempt they have shown the fans. I know most of those will go but I'd rather Remi is given the opportunity to root out the shit that has help Led us to this mess in the first place then any of them staying.
  2. Ah I've got it ! it's about socialism and the abstract t poetry by William Blake
  3. Being British is about driving a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then traveling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV........ am I close?
  4. He is exactly what WE need however we are not what he needs. His ego now would never allow him to come here, he wouldn't risk tainting his CV (sadly) with us. Maybe if an über rich billionaire bought us as his new play thing he could be tempted just can't see it under any other circumstances unfortunately.
  5. I was leaning towards wanting Spurs to win it in a sour, bitter & selfish point of view but after reading your well reasoned passionate posts I've got over my bitterness and I am well and truly in your corner and hope you go all the way! Again credit to you.
  6. Fair points ! Good luck with the rest of your season ! It's good to have a reasoned debate with a fan from another club. Credit to you
  7. Out of interest baby blue why are you so keen on Pearson being the next villa manager ? Did you go and spout this on Newcastle, Sunderland, Swansea forums? You can't seem to accept that some fans do not want your supposed messiah. Do you Want Ranieri to leave so you can have your beloved Pearson back?
  8. I'm praying for Hull to go up and Middlesbrough not to so Bruce stays, Karanka leaves and Pearson goes to Middlesborough and then potentially we get Karanka. Please imaginary man in the sky make it happen.
  9. Wanted to take this away from the forum. I work at Oxford United and was entertaining/speaking to one of your main scouts. His was watching Callum O'Dowda, Kemar Roofe also caught his eye. Anyway we got talking about Pearson and asked what the deal was and he told me that his son wasn't clean and had been sacked for the alleged, I asked why Pearson was sacked and he told me he basically wouldn't accept the clubs actions even with the proof in front of him. Challenged the board to fire him as well and they said ok. See ya later.

Now I have no reason to lie and nor do you, and we both believe what we believe. I don't like the man, you do let's leave it at that shall we.

  10. Don't try and change my mind about him I don't want him here full stop and all your rose tinted biased views won't change that. Please respect that. I heard different from a member of your staff about him and his son. If I'm wrong show me proof and I'll apologise and take it all back.
  11. No I'm living in the 21st century and not bringing up past managers from a different era just to suit a flawed argument. Can't comment on Saunders before my time, Clough loved booze and brown envelopes, Ferguson was one the greatest managers ever. Who should never be talked in the same breath as Pearson. You say it like Pearson is the only one capable of building a team. That what EVERY manager does surely given the chance. Raineri took his team and made it better. He really deserves minimal credit. Calling out your own fans and telling them to **** off and die. Grabbing a player by the throat then bragging about it in the press conference. getting fired for supporting his racist son. Yeah dream manager ?! But it's ok cause you see a manager who wins.
  12. I believe what I've seen and what has been written about him widely in the national press. and also what I was told by the (Chief) scout of Leicester yes. His record outside of last seasons miraculous escape (a once off in my eyes) is mediocre at best especially with all the baggage that comes with him. The guys a clearing in the woods ! Do you ignore what is front of your eyes ?
  13. Here's a question for you Bruce or Pearson or Martin O'neil ?!
  14. The championships has moved on a hell of a long way in the TWELVE years plus since Moyes was at PNE. You can't count the fact he was there in his favour. He could be a good fit though tbf. Personally I'd don't want him but if it meant it wasn't Pearson or Bruce sign him up.
  15. My bad, but think it's a it harsh to say he failed quite badly st Derby as they were in the hunt for promotion. Who knows how it would of panned out if he wasn't sacked under unusual circumstances ie Derby chairman actually not wanting promotion. He has worked under some of the greatest managers of our era, has worked at Chelsea, PSG & Real Madrid so used to dealing with egos. He is highly rated within the game, brodgers failed at Watford badly only to excel at Swansea. One failure doesn't mean he can't be a success here. I think he has the potential to be a great manager. Plus he isn't Pearson. But I can understand why some fans wouldn't want him. Just one of my personal preferences.
  16. I personally believe Moyes peak was Everton 6 years ago now. He was on a hiding to nothing at Utd admittedly. You also in my eyes can't count what he did 14 years ago at PNE as any gauge of his suitability. Plus he looks like grounds Keeper Willy from the Simpsons but rather him than Bruce Hughton or Pearson.
  17. Failed at Southampton, failed at Hull sacked twice by Leicester for falling out with the board. Embarrassed himself and the club on numerous occasions last season. I've posted this article in the other thread but sums him up perfectly and I don't want him near our club. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leicester-city/11711901/Nigel-Pearson-was-a-bully-and-deserved-to-be-sacked-by-Leicester-City.html
  18. Failed miserably at Southampton sacked twice by Leicester for falling out with the board. Poor at Hull. And this sums up why I don't want him near our club http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leicester-city/11711901/Nigel-Pearson-was-a-bully-and-deserved-to-be-sacked-by-Leicester-City.html
  19. Pearson overall managerial record is mediocre outside last seasons heroics though. He is an embarrassment waiting to happen.
  20. Yep a perfect storm of circumstances came together for Pearson and he did a great job in keeping them up can't deny that. But If he is such a good manager how come Sunderland Newcastle Swansea etc didn't appoint him? His overall record is poor. He is a hateful character. And I'll think you'll find it was Leicesters version of paddy Reilly who found Vardy & mahrez not Pearson personally.
  21. Fair points but I disagree that this squad needs a tough character it needs tearing apart. And Karanka, Billic & quique Flores haven't done too badly considering they didn't know the league. I want the best man available to us regardless of their nationality.
