  1. We need to get better in every aspect of the match day experience by upgrading the concourses, transportation as well raising the spend per seat and lengthen the time fans are in and around the ground. They can then justify charging more once the standard of the experience be it GA or GA+ has improved. Again will point to the fact that Heck said it’s about all fans and not one stand and once they’ve upgraded the facilities in place right now across the board, then you look again at a new North Stand.
  2. Then ditch the Euros if needs be … what do we gain from it ? The council who’ve not always been supportive have a vested interest for sure yet all they can do is muster a task force and look into upgrading the stations rather than commit out right and get on with it. I guess it will help our brand somewhat
  3. Just read Newcastle will be one of adidas’ elite teams so will get bespoke kits and the trefoil. Surely if they are then we will given Sawiris’ involvement as investor… we’re gunna smash all records I feel in terms of shirt sales next season despite what some think of the badge & betting sponsor.
  4. We need to turn the space we have into a place non Villa fans want to visit. Spurs are building an extreme sports centre with deep dive pool and massive indoor climbing wall. In Folkestone they’ve built a multi story indoor skate park and climbing centre. These are the sorts of developments that will attract people to the ground daily all year round and I’ve just used them as an example of what we could look to build. The increased footfall will make the Holte hotel / warehouse more financially viable.
  5. The area behind the North Stand is ripe for development. Just take a look at what Spurs are planning in a predominantly suburban area. I’ve been in the relocation is necessary camp previously but Spurs have proven with their stadium which is in a deprived area location doesn’t matter with foresight.
  6. No id expect over £25mill for Matty Cash and closer to £90mill for Luiz… Bear in mind also that any fee for Luiz is now all pure profit as would be basically all of the fee for Matty Cash. So yeah I’m happy for the club to sell pretty much anyone they see fit in order to strengthen us. The squad must continually evolve and sacrificing players on occasion will be necessary.
  7. Newcastles stadium location means they don't have the same transport issues we currently face being so central. Toon fans also are diehard and I didn’t see them having to close a tier off when they hit relegated like we did. We will get there with a new north stand just not in the anticipated timescale of some. Once we've increase the spend per seat, get the upgraded infrastructure in place in terms of fan transportation and open the warehouse and Holte Hotel as fan zones then I’ve no doubt they’ll look at expansion again. I hope they revisit and adapt the design but larger and redesign the exterior to be less bland.
  8. Manuel Ugarte is being linked with a move to Juve on loan … Would be great if we could get someone in of his talent either permanently or even a loan.
  9. It’s just being every thread the incessant many about something that cannot be changed. The constant regurgitation. Anyhow back to kits I do hope we go all out and don’t play it safe this season. A deep all claret shirt, a classic away and daring 3rd kit. Can also see the fashion range being a mix of modern and adidas classic with the trefoil. The website will be replaced as it will no longer come under Fanatics I presume and its offerings growing exponentially. Too much tat currently. If you’re paying top dollar for a ticket you’re not gunna buy the shit in the shop presently.
  10. As others have said I don’t care too much who we decide to sell and buy as have full faith in the people in place and structure. We shouldn’t be worried about selling any player if our price is met or exceeded. We have to get better at selling players at the right time so that money can be reinvested into the squad.
  11. So you’d expect a hefty rise in season ticket prices now as they eek every penny towards keeping in line with UEFA’s cap … Not the clubs fault by they’ll need to squeeze every revenue stream in order to stay compliant. Loyal fans always seem to get hit the hardest. Maybe they could do a tiered system whereby new season ticket holders pay a percentage more than fans who’ve had one day for 8 years or more…
  12. The round badge from 82 is what some posters prefer. Common consensus is the like roper branded shirt will go down as a classic …The Lerner era badge certainly stands out on that shirt. So I don’t get that the same posters bemoan the use of a blue background for the NSWE crest.
  13. With so many clubs now owned by ambitious billionaires it’s only fair that they should be allowed to pump their own money in should they wish to. they’ll find a way though to handicap clubs like Villa joining the party no doubt.
  14. Hopefully stays there and builds a career for himself … I’d like us to do a deal with Arblaster with the remaining monies they’d owe for keeping him.
  15. Didn’t realise that … should’ve checked …
  16. We could’ve done with some Spanish keep ball yesterday in midfield. I wonder if Koke could be tempted away from Atletico - class player and vastly experienced going into hopefully our maiden champions league campaign* Contract expiring this summer but with a years option. Would love us to go for Javi Guerra from Valencia but may be out of reach considering the other names linked with him. Or go Dutch with Mats Wieffer. We need that calm technical ability in the centre of the pitch. (*appreciate we have been Euro champions I mean in its new format as it’s a vastly different tournament since we were crowned kings of Europe)
  17. Said it before I’d sell him if we get a large enough bid - if not keep him. We sell him on our terms and reinvest
  18. If you’d said we would get 7 points from Bournemouth Arsenal and Chelsea games you’d have taken it …
  19. Are we winning and currently 9 points clear of 5th cannot tell by the negativity and bedwetting from some …
  20. Where are the doom and gloom merchants now ? Some of y’all flip flop massively between elation and defeat
  21. Remind me how the first half at Arsenal went ?
  22. Strange how he hasn’t kicked on since leaving Ajax. Not suggesting we go after him but wouldn’t mind it if we did as always thought he’s a fantastic player. With Slot coming in he may finally fulfill his obvious potential.
  23. There’s a world where West Ham beat Plop we win against Chelsea then beat Liverpool and we’d only be 2 points behind them with two games to go…
  24. Heck said the focus would be on all fans and not just one stand when he gave that interview before Xmas. Thats why I don’t get why some moan so much about its delay. Retrofitting the current general admission concourses and hospitality areas will be a costly exercise and will need to make a return on investment before they think about the North Stand IMO. Also by keeping supply lower that increases the demand and the amount people are willing to pay. We will have the warehouse for the 25/26 season and I can then see them also them looking at the The Holte Hotel in terms of expansion and refurbishment to create another fan zone behind the Holte. A new club shop is a must so will be interesting how they approach that over the next few years. Then what will they do afterwards once the current infrastructure is upgraded across the board with The Witton which is the hardest part of the stadium to upgrade due the lack of space. Exciting times ahead.
  25. Well we will never know … Dragon Rogue are considered the go to agency …
