  1. They were knackered towards the end of our game, and we had 10 men. There's no way they can sustain their pressing over 2 legs with the games that close together, we'll beat them.
  2. I think I'd have lost my shit if Whelan bent one in with the outside of his foot from 20 yards.
  3. I say this basically every time he plays. He's constantly a passenger.
  4. I wouldn't rule out Derby. Baggies are shite.
  5. I **** hope so. I reckon we can beat Baggies over 1 leg or 2. I'd feel much better about having 2 games against Leeds though.
  6. I'd give it all I have as well, can I be paid millions to be a footballer clearly out of my depth? I don't dislike him as a person, and he does seem to love it here, but his contract should have ended many years ago.
  7. It's all well and good, until we lose the ball, they counter attack and he's slowly plodding back towards the half way line. As we see every single **** time he plays.
  8. Yet he has legions of fans. The amount of posts I've had laying in to me even this season for saying he's absolutely shite blows my mind. I can only attribute it to a variation of stockholm syndrome.
  9. At least we'll never see him play again after this.
  10. I can't make it anymore, so pm if you're still looking @spiezels
  11. We just watched S02, E01 of BBC's Trust Me. I'm not sure I've ever been more disappointed by a TV show. The first series was brilliant. It was 4 episodes featuring a nurse who loses her job due to whistleblowing, and steals the identity of an doctor who's migrated, going on to impersonate her in her role as an A+E doctor. Good writing, good cast, decently written and shot. It's definitely worth a watch. Then Jodie Whittaker left to work on Dr Who. Series 2 has a completely different premise, tone, cast, even cinematography. It's some ridiculous, poorly written 'murder mystery nonsense following a soldier who gets admitted to a hospital where patients are dying suspiciously. It literally have nothing to do with the first series other than the title, and being set in a hospital. Utterly shite. They should have just canned it after series 1.
  12. Well, shit. This adds an extra level of importance to the playoffs. He deserves to be in the PL, and if he does end up going, I'll know he could have left us some time ago and it's his love for this club that's kept him wearing claret and blue up until this point. I bloody hope we can succeed and keep him here for his career though. There's nothing like seeing a genuine Villa fan with the armband, and knowing he's as excited as anyone in the Holte every time he steps on to the pitch. I was sceptical about whether he really justified the hype, but now I absolutely love him.
  13. Other than McGinn, I'd be fairly relaxed. There's a week break, and Norwich aren't a dirty team.
  14. Whenever I read about all of these amazing youth players we have who can never get a game, I remember how confident some fans were that Luke Moore was better than Rooney.
  15. The first series was great, I thought it was a rapid decline into the unwatchable after that.

    Tickets

As far as I'm aware, the club don't deviate from the policy on this, which is that any ticket assignments must be done before the game is played, they don't change ticket allocations afterwards. I'd say @villarule123 may have been on hold for 3+ hours for nothing.
  17. It seems a little odd to me that Mr Fire Sword's grand purpose in life was to kind of save Arya, when there was someone else there who could have done it. He got brought back to life 20 odd times for that?
  18. 5-1 wouldn't have been an unreasonable score. What a game.
  19. No punishment from the ref ought to mean a retrospective ban.
