I am finding the transfer links rather exciting this year and the best thing about them for me is the character of the players we look to be in for. I am 100% behind Lamberts transfer policy on bringing players in who just really want to play football.

Keep trying the ticket office for returns, eBay and Viagogo . Something will come up I am pretty sure the ticket office have a rather large waiting list for returns.

Looking at the table makes the last 2 games even more disappointing as if we had beat Wigan and held on today we would have been 9 points clear of the drop. All ifs and buts I know but disappointing nonetheless.

I can't really explain it but I am to, fairly optimistic that is. I think we have had rotten luck with injuries and with a bit of experience brought in at the back and in the middle I reckon we will be ok. Maybe it is blind faith and just not wanting to experience the alternative to safety but I believe we will be ok in the end and push on next season.

Too be honest I think he did an ok job in the summer and the majority of his signings have been amongst the better performers. Vlaar (when fit), Benteke, Lowton and Westwood have not done much wrong. The problem seems to be the existing players at Villa with some real lazy high earners and some sub standard youth. Based on the signings I am more than happy to give him another window to replace some of the existing guff left over from previous managers.

Got promoted today for the first time and it feels BLOODY good as I have worked like a dog for it over the past year, little bit of a pay rise but that doesn't bother me for now as it is all about having the experience on my CV. To top it off I absolutely love my job. Well happy
