    Yes! Mings was always gonna be over 20 million after getting us up and looking at it now was a good price.

    It's not the owners I think it's more down to christian purslow. Trying to make sure we dont pay over the odds.

    With all the posts from the villa official twitter about how together the players are I wonder if nothing will happen till after we start the season? See how we start then buy if we are still poor? I know a gamble but no real strong links maybe we couldn't get the players we wanted to make us better. Just a thought. I'm probably wrong.lol

    Well he said "We wont be in this postion again" guess what we are and we will be if he don't wake up and change this. Really worries me that we are seeing the same things that we saw under lambert. It looks like the villa job is just too much for people to take it on and get it right.

    Newcastle are making to much money for Ashley so wont be sold. Everton have ground problems and also in competition with Liverpool. Villa have none of that (and don't dare to think small heath are in competition with villa) So we do look good for buyers.

    I really feel sorry for lambert. Lerner should back him all the way and give him what he needs to save us. All the people attacking lambert just dont see the task hes got. Lets hope we get a mad last day and sign 3 players.

    If we dont bring in new faces we will be relegated IMO. The players are so low at the moment we need something to pick them up. The problem is the fans can see this the media can see this but lerner and the rest at villa cant. If we go down getting back up will be even harder then people may think. Sad state at the moment and we really do look like another leeds in the making.

    oh well defence again every villa fan can see the problems, its a shame the club cant.

    IMO i dont see anyone signing for us this month. It looks like lerner will not allow anymore money to be spent and that will mean we will be down without a fight. Maybe he thinks we can do a newcastle and come back up after one season. Lets hope so.

    IMO PL will bring in players he knows will do the job so lets just wait and see.

    Well impressed with PL and i have to say what a difference from last season. I think in time PL will make villa into a better team then martin o neil had IMO. Really bright future for the villa now.

    I`m happy think this well be a new start and i can see us suprising some fans. I know this season will be ups and downs but i can see what pl is trying to do and i think we need to back him.

    With team we have now League: 11th FA Cup: 4th Round League Cup: quarter finals 3 more signings and i would say 8th

    I wonder if we are waiting to see what happens with Martinez and liverpool. Bit of a gamble if we are.

    Its so sad to see how many steps back we have taken again this season. For the first time in a long time (since dol) i really worry about where villas next win will come from. AM is watching a different game to everyone else and cant see how bad we really are.
