    It's a great myth that is generally touted around. Apart from the obvious financial 'commitment', there was a period between mid-September and early November (around 6 weeks) where he wasn't present, presumably because he was otherwise occupied. Since then he has visited 9 times for periods of between 4 and 7 days. Included in there are a couple of side trips to Paris and Kabul. So our 'absentee owner' is quite a bit less 'absent' than many other owners in the league. Just delivering the facts.......... What on earth was he doing in Kabul!?

    McLeish surely can't last beyond the summer, so who do we realistically want as manager next season? Personally, the only realistic target for me would be Paul Lambert. Can work wonders with little funds, his teams give everything, every match...and he gets results. He has only managed 3 teams I think; Wycombe; got them to League Cup semi-final (when they were in League 2) and drew the first leg 0-0 with Mourinho's Chelsea Colchester; wasn't really there long enough to make an impact, but it was his side that beat Norwich 7-1 at Carrow Road on the opening day of the season Norwich; From mid table League 1 to top half Premier League in under 3 years

    We always sit back when we've got a 1-0 lead, why!? Our defence is poor at best, so why try and rely on it to see out games? I can't believe that Stoke away from home had 61% possession in the second half...just shows how bad we are.

    We should have enough of a gap now (7 points) to be ok this season...but I really fear for us next season if McLeish is in charge, especially when he's had more chance to 'stamp his authority on the team' *shudders*

    Normally (irrelevant of how shit you are) a team goes on a good run at some point during the season, this just shows that we haven't had that all season. Shocking stats, and just show what a terrible job McLeish has done.

    Poor choice imo, not captain material at all...but the squad is so thin that theres not many options really.

    We are in HUGE trouble now. We have the 2nd worst (Connor at Wolves is no 1) manager in the league, probably the most decimated squad in the league and zero momentum. We generally can't score goals and concede at the drop of a hat. Add that to the fact that QPR, Wigan, Bolton and Blackburn ALL have found form recently and our run-in is generally horrendous, then I'm struggling to see us staying up.

    I wonder how much longer we have to suffer with this buffoon running the show. It's no coincidence that his 2 sports teams are both routinely hopeless. I just hope that he gets sick of the abuse and sells up asap. I would rather him sell to someone with little funds, but knows what they're doing than continue as we are for much longer.

    If we stay up, he stays imo. Randy has already made it clear that he couldn't give a toss what the fans think...it would cost millions to sack McLeish (and his 'team')...millions that we dont have. Plus we already have a summer signing, I doubt Randy would sanction a transfer without being sure of keeping Eck. True. I mean, when was the last time we signed a player whilst we didn't have a manager? Oh.... Once bitten...
