I see no point in giving Lambert until Xmas (as some have suggested), he's already had 2 1/2 years (5 transfer windows) and we are still no better off - probably worse off. He's not suddenly going to become a tactical genius in the next 7 weeks. We've got to get rid now and give someone else a chance to assess things before January.

Our only hope of getting rid of Lambert is if Tom Fox has serious power and isn't another Lerner 'yes' man. Lambert has had every chance to improve us over 2 1/2 years and we're probably (unbelievably) worse. Time for a positive change before things get any worse. Until Lerner sells, I'd be over the moon with Tony Pulis.

He can certainly talk the talk. Let's hope it's not all hot air, and there will be a plan put in place similar to the Southampton model.

Celtic would be a good fit for him IMO. He gets the chance to rebuild his reputation and we get a fresh start, win win situation all round.

Just on Kevin McDonald - we won 1/2 matches with players like Downing/Milner/Young in the team (we also lost 6-0 at Newcastle and got knocked out of the Europa League in the first round) - our squad in much worse now, so how is he going to win more matches than he did before?

NIgel Clough has been at Derby for 4/5 years and has not even got into the play-offs once. Lambert had 1 season in the Championship and got promoted. John Gregory has an extremely poor managerial record overall, and Kevin McDonald was hardly a massive success last time was he? I'd rather stick with Lambert.
