I don't think we can influence who he sells to. ATM I think he is very poor owner - does he care ? I am not sure either way. To me if he cared he would be busy now searching for another CEO - I don't know that he isn't. But if he is trying to run Aston Villa over a series of long distances phone calls then perhaps he doesn't care. like others I will be majorly surprised if he ever sets foot inside VP again.

Just a thought under Xia we have mostly been a winning team - and yet he is already very unpopular. You might think we can't touch him - he owns the club and sells it as and when he wishes. Don't underestimate the vanity factor of the billionaires* - He won't like being laughed at, ridiculed and all the abuse that is going to come his way. We can shift Dr Loony - I am sure of it. I will be ordering my Xia Out baseball cap shortly...

Personally thats not off the table in my book. He has said completely false stuff before - The theme park, he was going to live in the uk, he owned five listed companies, he was buying a 2bn US logistics firm. I don't think sacking Bruce a few weeks down the line - and being called to book by the EFL is going to phase him to be honest.

Buts thats pretty much a given. I don't see how that stops clarifying the position about the other stuff weeks ago. Id rather have the statement than not. But it doesn't fill with any great hope, but I am past hoping from Xia - all I want to hear from him is that he is longer our owner. I am firmly off the fence whatever he says or does will be bad news in my book - I never trusted him from the start and see even less reason to trust him now. Unfair ? maybe - but thats where I am at.

No but it does mean you are more and more suspicious of everything he says. His credibility is close to zero in my book. Even in that open letter he claims to have had several conversations with SB - As xia must have been out the country those conversations must have been over the telephone. only problem with that is Xia doesn't speak English and Bruce doesn't speak chinese. Sure there are ways around it .....but thats IMO looks like another white lie

you will never have that cast iron information though. You always have to make judgement - for example if we signed a striker tomorrow - some will say 'looks a good move sure he will score goals for us' - others will say 'Nah he was poor at xxx club' - others will say lets wait and see. IMO our chances of a return to the top flight are pretty close zero while he remains. He will only take us on a downward spiral.

Brought us for £80m (probably with borrowed money ) - club is now perhaps worth £40m tops - He can't sell us. unless someone offers £80m..

He was involved in the takeover - there's photos of him in VP dressing room, with a shirt with his name on. Samuelson runs a company socfin who advise and finance the purchase of football clubs - I can see no other link between xia and wyness unless it come through Samuelson. I can't prove anything but IMO Samuelson set up the deal, provided the finance, installed wyness as the expert to run the show. His company took a fee for setting the whole thing up - and are now out of the picture.

Did you ever really trust him ? - for me there were times he was less dodgy than others. He lied to us from day 1 - we never knew how he made his billions (always a red flag) - but he has turned into the worst of all world, Not rich, not clever, and most likely as corrupt as hell.

The Story I am picking up here is that Samuelson set up this whole deal - probably including the finance and setting up Keith Wyness as the expert to run the club. - Now the money needs repaying - Wyness has gone, Samuelson no where to be seen. Xia with no experience in this field , and not a good business track record anyway - is running the show. Basically everything will be sold - until we run out of things to sell. I feel as bad about that statement as I did when the story about the winding up order was issued.

Burying bad news

Thing is Xia is a liar and is totally off his rocker. Any communication is likley to leave us none the wiser.

The chairman or owner isn't fan - he shouldn't behave like one. Fans will always scream for millions to be spent. The chairman has to be firm in these situations. The only possible thing in his defence is that on relegation there was the grand total of f all to work with on the playing side. As such money which should have been spent pushing us on had to be spent bringing us onto a even keel. The gamble with loans should never be repeated - its dead money. We could have brought lesser or younger players, they wouldn't have cost as much in wages and we would have something sell on. What we did was like one of those lease car deals - you pay £200pm for 3 years at the end of it - you have to give the car back.

Pretty smart tbf - although the other logo looks like a horse looking over its shoulder !

Wot a load of old bollocks the whole appointment was. I was quite keen until I heard his first interview where he just waffled on without really saying anything.

We need to get one of those planes with a trailing banner - Xia Out for one of the first home games - if noses can organise such a thing I am sure we can. The local press seem on the case of Xia so they would give it some coverage - I am happy to donate if someone can organise. Edit :- A quick google shows this is around £600 + vat for 1 hour - should be doable between us.....

I wasn't old enough to remember the late 60's - But he is certainly the worst owner in the last 50 years ....Terrible appointment in RDM, Wreckless to bring forward all our monies due in the hope of a promotion within 2 years. The guy is a complete fraudster, he probably isn't even a doctor, he has no real money in football terms, every business he owns runs at a loss, he is untrustworthy and a liar .....with a guy like that at the helm - no surprise where we are and the only way is down....

Whatever your opinions of Bruce - I am pretty sure Xia would conjure up someone worse as his replacement.
