I may have worded it badly , standing certainly doesnt detract from any atmosphere generated but standing/sitting doesnt necessarily detract either when there are enough participants.

As I said its people that generate atmosphere nothing more. That only about 8 of you wanted to stand up in that section of the north stand is evident of those willing in participation.

Yes I remember well. I think its worth pointing out that it would be doubtful 'terracing' would be brought back. Sanatised safe seating will be nothing more than standing in front of your seat. I am however in favour of it. Rather than have the safe seating as pictured a couple of pages ago, limited terracing with plenty of crash barriers would provide the club with an opportunity to make tickets available at a much cheaper price. There also seems to be a prevalent thought expressed here that it would improve the atmosphere. Not necessarily, people at the game can only do that witness are old friends Rapid.

That would be an interesting poll, who would renew if we went down. My criteria is if they put the price up again, whatever league we're in. (although my lad would probabaly make me renew anyway)

My opinion of him changed in a big way after last night....It wasn't even the football that changed it either, although that wasn't nice to watch as an Aston Villa fan...Houllier changed it with his actions. It's sad really.... Thats my take on it too

If you're going to sack him you've got to do it now or you let him see it through to the end of the season. (and then sack him ) A unique set of circumstances and will RL give him any money in January? If he doesnt then he may walk and its back to square one. (he may walk on Saturday if we get beat) That touching the anfield sign and not acknowledging our brilliant travelling support has left a bad taste all round.
