could say that about any young player. Its one of reasons gabby and weimann made it and fonz and moore brothers didnt As we speak, Delfouneso is still at the club, can't write him off yet Charming! Haha I didn't mean for it to sound like that, I'm just lazy! I'd blame it on the phone. If the post is too long ( like mine can be) the tendency on the phone is to skip to the short concise ones. Agree with tro, you talk a lot of sense albeit in a long winded way but when Delfouneso first burst onto the first team, when he was 17 he looked like he was going to be a top class player, mon was waxing lyrical about him, shame it hasn't worked out for him yet

Benteke is 2 years his senior. My point is generally speaking if they was going to make it at that age we would be seeing it now. Garry Shaw, Andy Gray and Brian Little were all pulling up trees before 20 years of age. I knew you'd pop up with your nostalgia, you are a good poster but players develop at different rates. Johnson has got a chance of making it here, he wouldn't have got a new 2 year deal if the club didnt think that he had potential
