I know what you mean Trent, but I’m actually quite glad that DS is not being talked about as much as he should - it’s working to our advantage imo. The next 2 games are the ones that could change all that, we pick up 4 or even 6 points from those and he’ll be in the spotlight for sure. Unless of course Leeds manage to lose 8-3 with 60% possession, and 11 shots on target that same weekend....

It’s just fantastic that we have done what Leicester did a few years ago (I appreciate we probably won’t be in the title race ) and taken the momentum from our great escape into our following season. We are halfway to safety already after 10 games, comfortably on course for a mid table finish, my hat is off to you Deano!!

A fantastic result, and a fantastic performance. We have to work harder in midfield than our opponents, and tonight has shown like the last 10 games before it did that if we win the midfield battle, then we usually win the game. It feels like we are set up perfectly to play away from home, we’ve really been doing a job on teams. Our next 7 games are Brighton (h), West Ham (a), Newcastle (h), Wolves (a), Burnley (h), West Brom (a) & Crystal Palace (h). I think we can get at least 10 points from those, which would leave us on 25 points from 14 played - 15 more points from 24 games seems a certainty right?

I felt his positioning was poor for the 3rd goal. He was just inviting Ward-Prowse to put it exactly where he did. Other than that he had no chance with the other 3 goals.

I think it’s a shame the international break came when it did as we didn’t get to really kick on from the Liverpool result. We looked a little bit sluggish against Leicester, but last night was much worse and no where near the levels that are needed. For me, Smith is not at fault really for last nights performance - sure he could’ve tweeked the formation at half time/early 2nd half, but I think the result would’ve been the same as we just didn’t work anywhere near as hard as Leeds did.

I’m still just buzzing. I’m so happy for Dean, he had a lot of doubters (myself included) and he is proving us all wrong. He has remained calm throughout, and has improved the team significantly these last 4 months.
