  1. Having watched the highlights on the official site, I thought there was a fair turn out in the Villa end for this match. All things considered, I'd not think many clubs would have had that many turn up. A bluenose mate of mine, was trying to tell me we only took 200! I don't know where they get their shit from?! Fair play to all those than made the trip! You lucky gits!!
  2. It may not be their full first team, but there are a lot of big players out there for Citeh tonight, with massive fees and wages to their names, and we've battered them! COME ON YOU LIONS!
  3. last time i remember was norwich at home last season november 5, 1 nil down but won 3-2 In other words WAY TOOO long ago not even a year then We came from behind to beat Chelsea and Wolves, last January, if memory serves.
  4. Must admit I'm struggling to muster any enthusiasm for this match. I think it's the impending inevitability of a City win. Man flu, terrible weather, and the lack of any pictures are not helping the matter either.
  5. Yeah, I normally never answer unknown or withheld numbers. I figure if it's important, they'll leave a message. You can join the Telephone Preference Service, which should stop unsolicited calls.
  6. Good. Yep. The more we stay under the radar, and people write us off, the better I say.
  7. Really? I thought it was quite funny. Laugh out loud funny in parts.
  8. Ah f*ck beans! No double for Warwickshire. Hell of a finish, to a very close match though. Fair play to Hampshire, held their nerve at the death.
  9. I love it. Fantastic show. As you would expect from a HBO show, the scripts, acting, sets, cinematography etc are right on the money. I would warn you, it's a bit of a slow burner, but the pay off is well worth the wait.
  10. Sorry, but what the hell has Heysel got to do with what happened at Hillsborough? The youngest person who died, would have been 3 at the time of Heysel for God's sake! Did he 'murder' the Juventus fans?
  11. Good to see the title of the thread has been changed at last. If some people still hold the views that I've seen, post today's report, then I truly despair. I hope the exoneration of the fans, is of comfort to the families of the 96 who lost their lives, due to the incompetence, and down right fabrication and lies, of the authorities that should have been there to protect them, and let them watch a game of football in safety. Arrests now need to be made, and justice needs to be done. As for that odious toad, Kelvin MacKenzie, and his cronies at The Sun, they should never work in media again.
  12. Hmmm, hard to think of any that haven't been said. TRS-T and his work for the Birmingham Tourism Board, has brought much amusement over many VT threads.
  13. Managed to find someone to go with, and just sorted out some tickets. Looking forward to this one!
  14. Miserable BRITISH clearing in the woods! Well done Andy Murray.
  15. It really does boggle my mind that fellow football fans can disregard overwhelming evidence, and let their prejudices cloud their judgment. On some things, I'd like to think we as football fans, the same as those at Hillsborough that day, can support each other on matters like these. It could have been us that day. It could have been any set of fans. Mention Liverpool though, and the negative connotations, and past reputations start to surface.
  16. Jesus H! Is this actually a closing ceremony, or a feckin' Coldplay concert?!
  17. Fresh from seeing them in Leeds the other night.
  18. Bloody glory hunters! :winkold:
  19. CHAMP-EE-ONIES! CHAMP-EE-ONIES! CHAMP-EE-ONIES! OLAY! OLAY! OLAY! YOOOOUUUUUU BEEEEEAAAAAARRRRRRSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
