Clark at CM? Interesting. He must see something about the lad in training. His passing is excellent and we tend to play better football when he plays as he is calm and doesnt lump it forward. Could be an interesting move.. however timing of it isnt the best. Should have trialled it against Burnley..

I agree 100%. This is what squad rotation means.. you play the team you think can win the game.. not pick the same 11 for every game and then make 10 changes to a cup match. We need height in this game.. Young can be back at right back next game.. but against Stoke we need height. Carew must also start to help on set pieces.

could be a terrible decision with Houllier He is 63 with medical issues. He signed some shocking players at Liverpool Hasnt managed in 3-4 years. He signed Heskey for Liverpool He got rid of Carew at his peak for Baros. Friedel and Warnock reportedly had bad relations with Houllier. I cant see this being very well thought out by Randy and Co.

Couple of questions General, if i may. 1. Will funds be made to the new manager? if MON left due to transfer/wages issue... will this be an issue with the new manager? It would be hard to attract a manager without the cash for transfers. 2. Are we still cutting players like Heskey (please!) Sidwell etc who have high wages.. or will that be left to the new manager to decide? 3. You said Good talks with Ash Young.. so were the reported talks of Ash wanting to leave true? just like every current player.. the new manager will consider Ireland an existing player he has to work with. I dont see a problem with that. Maybe he will interview managers and question whether they rate Ireland or he may already have done so. Maybe the deal was actually done and dusted before MON left. Who knows.
