    it shits me when MON says after the game.. we tired... well make some bloody changes! He has to make at least 2-3 changes.. to freshen the legs.. but also for morale....... the other players want a run too. Heskey was injured and play 3 games in a week? Carew must start.. I think Collins must start in place of Cuellar or Dunne too. Id like Petrov and Gabby rested as well.. Last time Sidwell and Reo Coker played we looked good.

    the lads looked tired against Arsenal with a weeks rest.. Especially second half.. we ran out of steam. Have to make several changes to freshen things up.     Carew hasnt lost the ball when they get it to him he finds a villa shirt. Problem is their tiring.. 3 games in 3 days.. unchanged..

    geez peeps.. bit harsh on big john. He will score but it will end 1-1. Stoke look good. Ref will even out the game with a dodgy pen. Downing on the right is poor at times.. not a fan.. switch them back MON. We were crap all half even before Heskey went off.. we had a good 5 min spell between 16 and 21 min.. but thats it really.

    i think we will do them. But am worried about Arsenal Liverpool.. i think we may not get much out of those two fixtures... with Man City and Tottenham having a few easy games around that time too... The ladder could completely change. I think 3 points is critical.. especially in hindsight if we end up with a point the fortnight after.

    with in regards to squad rotation. Same as Saturday. Only time you should squad rotate imo.. are if there are any niggling injuries ie Warnock should not play or an out of form player. If Gabby is firing.. leave him in.. my only concern is.. would MON rest him if hes out of form like last season. I hope so.

    wow. unbelievable. dont know how to react to that. I still dont believe it. Everyone was superb.. MON.. absolutely spot on in tactics. Bringing on Carew to not sit deep too early.. even though we got pushed back and Reo to come on to make sure the middle is tighter. Well done. Very happy with the 3 pts. Results went our way today too. Perfect.

    MON cost us yet another game with awful substitutions and tactical naivety. When they were pressing us we should have switched to a 451 with Sidwell/Downing coming on for Carew. Yet we just let them run us over. What does MON do.. takes off our best CM. Argh. Cuellar and Beye were awesome. Friedel and Gabby were good.. the rest were shit.

    Carew must play home games.. he turns up for most of those. Carew will score against Tottenham

    Heskey will start over Carew. I hope not but i think MON will start Heskey since he scored last week. Yet Sidwell or Petrov whilst playing poorly will still retain their spots.

    how people can blame Carew.. our midfield has been completely overrun. Milner hasnt even touched the ball ffs. Dunne and Cuellar are getting dominated in the air.. 'Ireland lost.. get over it' (roy keane)..and get your fucken head on it. Petrov and Sidwell.. fucken useless.. bring on Downing and NRC in the middle

    why is it stan or NRC? Sidwell should be dropped on form... but then again hes our lucky charm.

    Friedel should have come off so Albrighton can get a run.. the ball wasnt near him anyway! 10 marks to all.. i havent enjoyed a game for a while.. its normally pulsating! Nice to sit and enjoy the final 30 minutes with calm. Reo Dunne and Carew were magnificent. Sidwell Cuellar were great also. The Fonz looks quality.. i was hoping MON would give them 30 min when we scored 4-1. Ahh well.. Slowly blood them in i guess.

    plus side.. Reo Coker and Sidwell.. absolutely fantastic. Just look at the possession.. 63% for Villa.. against at the start a 5 man midfield. Superb. Sidwell alot more ball than usual with Reo next to him.

    A rest? You don't rest a player that scored 4 games in a row! well maybe too soon for a rest.. but i hope he doesnt play 38 straight games plus cup competitions like last season.

    he needs a rest though.. even though hes scored again.. he always loses form towards the end of the season. Just hope he doesnt get burnt out and gets a rest here and there.. would also like to see a bit of of the fonz.
