Theres no way we can catch Wolves. Even if we win tonight. Thats 7 points. Say even Cardiff beat them and we win our corresponding fixture. Thats 4. Their remaining games are Burton Sunderland Birmingham Hull etc. They wont lose 2 more. Even then.. we would have to win all ours. No chance really. We need to beat Wolves to maintain that 4 points to Cardiff. Then we need Wolves to beat Cardiff and we beat Cardiff. Lose tonight and its play off football imo. Could be 7 behind Cardiff and Fulham 1 behind. Must win.

Difference last year.. we looked for him to create.. so he took it upon himself. Way we play this year.. is we create chances for the strikers. So all he needs to do is score. He does that very well.

I know this will never happen... but i would put Lansbury in today. I would move Hourihane in the deeper role to protect back four and Lansbury in the Hourihane role. I just think we need that crazy sort of player that would just snap at everything in midfield. Yes this is Jedinak but i just think he will be too slow in this game. BB is quicker and more mobile but doesnt have the bite. Lansbury will have something to prove and he gets really stuck in when playing in CM. We also havent seen much of him in a team with a bit of confidence. We need mobility and players who can pass and retain the ball. Wolves wont pose too much of a physical threat or aerial threat to require Jedinak. We need to really press from the front and midfielders to press theirs and not give them time on the ball. so realistically how long before hes match fit? 6-8 weeks? Looks like hes been doing lots of cardio in France and hes a naturally fit lad (insert jokes). I think theres every chance hes back for play offs.

We need to play the 4411 formation with Jack behind Hogan or Grabban. I think Grabban on current form.. but Hogan would suit it better as hes quicker and presses higher up the pitch. We need MIle to literally sit infront of the back four. Hourihane and Jack to get the ball and move it to wide players to attack. Stay compact in defence. Take our chances. Win the match.

Geez hes finally showing what we thought he had. The way hes shrugging off challenges... credit to the coaching staff... really bulked him up and hes actually gained a yard of pace. Looks more direct and confident. His new found fitness has him even working hard off the ball. Keep it going young Jack.

Wolves will probably beat leeds.. but we dont need Leeds to win.. a draw would be fantastic. If we beat Wolves and Leeds win we are 4 behind (still 2 games). If we beat Wolves and Leeds draw..5 points behind. Still 2 matches. Either way the pressure will be right on leeds to get a result. If they shit the bed tomorrow.... wow we will be smelling blood on the weekend.
