  1. I'm assuming the club will have wanted to sell the majority of the TV lounge capacity as a season package. Perhaps as high as 75% (750), which is similar to the season ticket ratio (around 30k of 39.6k home seats). This would guard against unused capacity in the games that were less glamorous/'special occasion' or awkward kick off times. That might have worked if they'd priced it at £200 to include one pint per game, instead of £480 (or £781 if not an existing season ticket holder) for 2 pints, a programme and lanyard.
  2. Trinity Road End? Holten End Terrace? Direct contact with an account manager? Networking? Something's not quite right about that post.
  3. I'm waiting for a CL club... I mean an EL club... Sorry, I meant an ECL club... ...
  4. I've guessed £30. What price do you think the match day entrance to the Terrace View Lounge will be?
  5. Are you assuming the mark up on ST average match cost to match day sale cost will be copied to the entrance of the TV Lounge? Membership to the Terrace View Lounge costs £480 (averaging £25.26 per game). Knowing the high availability but also not wanting to annoy those who have paid the £480 up front, I'll be surprised if the day entrance is much higher or lower than £30. The average cost of a match day ticket in Zone 1 (covering the central 50% of the Upper Holte) is £58.16 (((11x51)+(8x68))/19). Adding my guestimated entrance fee of £30 to £58.16 for the average match day seat cost would equal £88.16 or £1675 for the 19 game league season. Still £115 per season or £6.05 per game more expensive than the £1560 TV lounge season for non-ST holders, but not near the £116 to £120 per game you were predicting. In summary, it will depend on the match day price to enter the lounge. My guess is around £30. Your guess assumes around £60, which I just can't envisage.
  6. I couldn't be bothered to watch the Villa friendly games, except Chelsea Vs Fulham of course, but I could tell Diaby immediately suited Villa's play. G. Evans, The Athletic.
  7. If you think fans are annoyed now, wait until we're fighting for seats when the capacity is reduced to less than 36k for 2 seasons!
  8. How do you think they'll discontinue it? I can't see that kind of investment being abandoned or the club turning down money from anyone wishing to commit £480 on top of their existing ST or £1500 including a seat for 19 league games. Wouldn't it make more sense for the club to lower the pricing until it was more popular, rather than discontinue it?
  9. Like most businesses and their price structuring, I think the club will think they've priced the tickets correctly if there's just a few seats still available. As a long term season ticket holder, I'd rather be paying a lot less and have thousands unable to obtain the reasonably priced tickets. I now appreciate those days are gone.
  10. It's unlikely but not impossible that your neighbour doesn't know which neighbour has the parcel. It's happened to me twice. You could take the parcel and ask if they knew where it was. If no, give them the parcel. If yes, set fire to it in front of them.
  11. I agree but @Chindie hasn't yet confirmed they know for certain the neighbour knows where the parcel is which, short of the neighbour knocking on every local door and asking 'do you have my parcel?', they can't even collect it. It seems like more time has been spent on this discussion than just popping the parcel to it's rightful destination.
  12. I've had a couple parcels stated as 'delivered to a neighbour' without saying which neighbour it was, so there's a chance your neighbour might not know you have his parcel and therefore can't collect it. If it's annoying you, why not deliver and be rid of it?
  13. Interesting that the public capacity of the Villa Warehouse is as high as 2500. Does anyone recall the public capacity of the previously proposed Villa Live?
  14. I think the back 10 rows of the Holte Upper is being changed to rail seating (but not sure if it's all being completed this summer - there must be some back of the Upper VTers that have been notified??), permitting those fans to stand 'legally'. Therefore anyone buying Lounge access which includes 19 Premier League tickets will be asked which of the available seats scattered across the stand (i.e. those not occupied by existing STs), do you want? Towards the back with rail seating but note that people could stand in front of you, or the front two-thirds rows in a standard seat.
  15. I think there's already a fairly high majority of the Holte Upper already taken as season tickets that would be occupying seats concentrated from the front centre but fanning out sideways and rearward in an arc. There's been no news of season ticket holders being asked to move to make a block of seats available. As such, I still can't see how the Holte Lounge buyers, who are buying without an existing Holte Upper season ticket, can be sat together in a big block, unless it's on the left or right edges of the stand which are probably less populated with season ticket holders because it's a poorer view. I have noted the image of a block of 1050 seats (21 rows of 50 seats) shown in the invitation emails, but can't help think this is a misrepresentation. I'm fascinated how this is going to work.
  16. The gambling companies will have looked at last season's league position and then popped Chelsea and Spurs back to their 'rightful' positions - pushing us down from 7th to 9th. I doubt there's been much movement yet from actual money bet to change those odds, but in any case there's hardly any swell of opinion, outside of our fan base, that thinks we're about to bust into the top 4 or 5. On the upside, I think the longer we remain under the radar, the better.
  17. That we had to wait for the Marvelous money to buy someone covering Nakamba's position does not speak well for NSWE and proves Purslow is still pulling the strings from his lair.
  18. Witton station in 2123 just needs Mings' skeleton. In a Villa kit.
  19. Appears to have changed from when I looked soon after they were available. I'm assuming it was a site glitch.
  20. They'll be waving their programmes and lanyards back in retaliation!
