I think we need more than 2+ Bertrand. Do you really think 2 players can improve that shower? We need a CB to supplement Vlar and Okore, at least 2 midfielders. Lowton seems out of it and I would rather see Bacuna playing in his proper position which he has hardly had chance to do therefore another RB. There are toom any not good enough Clark, Bennett, Weiman, Gabby(?) El Ahmadi, Tonev to start with

When Lerner took over his club he KNEW he wasn't going to make money. He said himself if that was the aim he wouldn't have bought a football club. He made the decisions to spend, spend, spend - which I supported as I believed he had enough sense to actually know what he was doing - my mistake! Yes, Cittee have come on since then but nothing else has really changed. This is a knee jerk reaction by a man who is playing with the family jewels (no pun intended) at the risk to the club and the fans. He is a passing ship in the night, AVFC will be here long after the fool goes like it was here long before he popped along. Show us you are a man of truth by accepting you have failed and get another 'Custodian' in to try and move us forward as wit hyou we are going backwards. Progress? What progress???

Wasn't Lerners favourite comment (via mouthpiece Krulak) the fact if he wanted to make money he wouldn't have invested in a football club? He knew he was onto a loser but went ahead and now in just a few years has managed to bring OUR football club down on it's knees far quicker and more spectacularly than Ellis and yet people still make excuses for him. I was here for over 50 years before Lerner rode into town, I just hope I am still around to see him go and see some limited hope/success before I'm a Holte Ender in the Sky!

The problem is that this squad will not be able to compete in the Championship. Well that all depends who stays and who would go. A team of Guzan Lowton Clark Baker Bennett / KEA Westwood Grealish / Gabby Kozak Albrighton. Should be play offs worthy? Guzan, Westwood,Gabby, Kozak (possibly) and Albrighton will be off - All saleable and can get Randy some more money to pay off his debts. He can pocket the parachute payment and tell whoever is the manager to get loans from Port Vale and Accrington Stanley

also very true, but it probably underlines why Lerner is reluctant to invest after he was burned the 1st time Shows Lerners atuteness and management brilliance this.....fiddle and get relegated or spend and stay up? Not spend and lose the Sky money leaves us a far sight worse off in the medium to long term. He took a gamble on the January window that we had enough points t ostay up without further investment - he got that wrong - so now is his gamble to get relegated, use the parachute money to bounce back just like Blackpool, B-Lose, Charlton, Blackburn, QPR, etc etc didn't?. He is clueless, stupid, arrogant and many other things if he thinks he can survive on 3p and a bag of marbles every season

Do these people that still rate Lambert actually see the games? No tactics, hit and hope, poor substitutions, no plan B (mind you no plan A) a pigheaded attitude to keep reverting to a style of play that is not working when he has shown at times adifferent way works but goes back to one that doesn't. His personality does not inspire and his blatant lying as regards Lerner was the last straw for me - don't take me for a mug - he has to do a lot to earn my respect as it is in the gutter at the moment. I accept Lerner has not helped but this man has not made the bes tof the significant cash he has had.

This idiot together with his idiot manager and idiot CEO made a gamble in January - a big gamble - that we had enough points on the board to stay up that is why they didn't go that extra mile to sign a MF and CB. The last time he took a gamble in January was with Bent - it worked - however there are times when your luck runs out and I just hope this Troika of muppets haven't reached that point yet. No plan A let alone a plan B other than to not get into debt and hang on to a Premiership place until someone comes along to rescue Yankee Doodle Dandy. When a club gets so desperate about itself that it has to ban long standing and well respected supporters from the Directors area and the spin machine has to get into gear to lie about the owner attending games then the writing is on the wall - DOOMED I tell ya we're DOOMED!
