  8. Jeez.....get a grip ffs i'm assuming these posts are tongue in cheek....
  9. Shame he's not very complementary about us when he talks about us.... but thats another story and another thread
  10. I guess gym's have a better financial buffer than most businesses as most memberships are paid for monthly/annually. So theyre not really bothered too much if people turn up or not.
  11. The gym i use i would say it's 50/50 on who wipe the equipment down. Hence why i always (even before this virus) wipe the equipment down. I think under the circumstances i will knock it on the head and not take any chances. No need to put myself into a higher risk situation.
  12. whats everybody's thoughts on using the gym while this is doing the rounds and with the government advice re social distancing? I wipe equipment with sanitiser before and after use but gym's are renown for being breeding grounds for germs etc. I'm fit and healthy but I'm currently of the mindset of not taking a chance and knocking it on the head.
  13. Modern Family. A Brilliant comedy. I've watched it before but decided to go through it all again and have started again from the very first one. It's just as good, if not better, the second time around. If you haven't watched it and want a good comedy to watch go for it.
  14. https://www.thejockeyclub.co.uk/aintree/media/press-releases/2020/03/rhgn2020/ 2020 RANDOX HEALTH GRAND NATIONAL FESTIVAL CANCELLED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS PRESS RELEASE 16TH MARCH 2020 AINTREE The Jockey Club has announced that The Randox Health Grand National Festival will not take place between Thursday 2nd and Saturday 4th April this year. Following the Government’s new public health guidance regarding avoiding social contact and stopping non-essential travel, and its statement that emergency services are withdrawn from supporting mass gatherings from tomorrow, the Jockey Club has decided that it is no longer appropriate to stage the event.
  15. So thats ok for Fulham, Brentford and Nottingham Forest who could go on a winning run like we did last season and overhaul either teams??? I just do not get how you can promote teams with 10 games to go. Like i've said previously, on that basis you would relegate the teams in the bottom. Whats the difference in doing that?? Are Coventry and Rotherham going to get promoted to the Championship? What about Oxford who are 2 points behind? Crewe, Swindon Plymouth promoted from League 2? What about Exeter who are 1 point behind? It goes on and on to all the clubs in the lower non league ladders The feeling is to promote Leeds and West Brom because they are so far in front !!! Its 6 points, thats all, it's nothing in the run in with the pressures that that brings. So you can promote teams based on not a full season but not relegate any??!!! You simply can't have one rule for one and not the other.
  16. sorry but this is utter tosh !!!! how the hell do you think it's ok to ''make it up as you go along'' ??? on that basis i reckon we would have gone on another 10 game winning streak and finish on 55 points !!!! Liverpool are going to lose the next 9 Man City are going to win the next 10 Who knows who will finish where and therefore take whatever prize money is on offer for each finishing position is? You are talking millions from position to position. Then there is the Championship, League 1 & 2 to consider. What about Coventry? 7 Points in front, give the title to them? It's tough, but If the season is not going to be completed the only fair way is to call it null and void and write it off. That in my view is completely fair on everyone. And i'm not just saying that because we are in the bottom 3.
