we must give this man time, even if the worst case happens and we are in the Chumpionship next season. we have to let him make his own mark and we have to be all behind him the level of football served up over the last 6 seasons has been Luther... ...let him do what he needs to do, imo it will be at least 4 or maybe 6 games before we start to see his style and hopefully a turn round. at least we learnt from the week end that Newcastle, Norwich, West Boreme Albion, Bournemouth, Blunderland, Stoke and Swansea are all tripe... we have a fighters chance....UTV

I appreciate its all about opinions, but Gestede is only good for one thing, headers so who is going to supply the crosses from wide in that set up? The protection the defence will get from that midfield is as about as good as using a condom with a hole in it!! I am not having a go at you, but for me it just highlights the serious lack of quality we have in our team/squad. I think you have misunderstood KSV's line up, his is the top one without Gestede, the second is Sherwoods line up vs Swansea. oooops....thanks for pointing this out to me

A totally disinterested owner who is full of clap trap. Promises promises which are proving to be nothing more than empty. He is stifling the club, strangling the life out of it. Leadership and direction comes fro the top. Any successful business has a core strategy, ours appears to be survival. Survival does not = success for Aston Villa. Six Years of utter dross. Never say never...but we have been knocking on the door regularly for the last few years, and if you keep knocking on the door eventually it will open. At least by reacting early the inept so called board will give the new man a fighters chance. You would also like to think that any new man coming in would get some money for the January window. This is yet another poor Prem League this season with despite what the media might say, there is not a lot to choose between the teams in the bottom half, For me its a 3 way scrap between Watford, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Sunderland, West Boreme Albion, Swansea, Norwich and of course ourselves.... so perm any 3 from 8...... lets just hope its not us as i fear the road back will be as long as route 66 !!

I agree. We played OK today. Could have probably been a lot less open after we went 1-0 up though and that is one of Tim's biggest faults. you have to put it in context....2 really shite teams... 10 games 8 losses...a lucky win against a promoted team, a draw against a rubbish team and 8 defeats for me that says it all
