  1. One of the best half of football I’ve seen in a while. Really impressive from us. Shame it’s only 1-0.
  2. Pleased that Almiron and Wilson on the bench for them. Both tore us apart earlier this season.
  3. Yep, I predicted a Dendoncker start. It’s a decent side with some added steel.
  4. Feels a bit like a clash of the titans outside of the Sky six etc, with both sides in good form recently and both eager to secure a European place. Newcastle are a good side and have only lost three games so far this season, by comparison, we’ve lost eleven games. It’s going to be tough. However, under Emery I’m confident we can gain a positive result in any game. We’ll hopefully keep the ball well and break when the time is right. Patience is key. Newcastle may even win the possession stakes here but I’m hoping we defend our box better and be more clinical. Kamara being 100% fit is massive for us but unless he’s trained all week, I’d be reluctant to start him for this. I therefore don’t think he’ll start but may make the bench. Cash also. Martinez Young Konsa Mings Moreno Dendoncker Luiz McGinn Ramsey Buendia Watkins Subs: Olsen, Cash, Digne, Carlos, Chambers, Revan, Kamara, Traore, Duran This could either be a very cagey cat and mouse game, with a 1-0 win for either side or a crazy mad back and forth fight to the death that neither manager plans for? I’m going with a mad 2-2 draw. UTV
  5. Le Milos and/or Galvin have a real chance I reckon. Cheeky E/W bets: Roi Mage, Hill Sixteen, The Big Breakaway
  6. Haha, yeah he is a weird looking sort. Still no official news on Kamara yet. I think we may bring in Dendoncker for this depending on Kamara. Can’t see us playing the long ball, it’s just not us now. We’ll try and keep it for long periods if possible and break when we can.
  7. No Almiron? He’s impressed me this season especially. Where do you see the game being won or lost on Saturday? Is winning the midfield battle key do you think? I do think Emery will have a plan, which may not be the most entertaining but certainly a plan to nullify you guys.
  8. Right, only one way to settle this I reckon…… Jackie Smithfield v Julie B
  9. How can anyone think that’s enjoyable? No, no, no.
  10. I wish Deano all the best. Shame as would’ve liked Leicester to have gone down but maybe not now.
  11. Adidas Tango ball for me. 1982, 86 and 90 World Cups especially. Bought a replica 82 ball on the annual family holiday to Spain when I was about eight and was the envy of my friends when I got back.
  12. Exactly. If we run out of steam now and still managed 10th, I would still be chuffed. The players are clearly buying into Emery and giving absolutely everything. All bodes well and sets up nicely for a real challenge next season. Honestly, I’ll take whatever place we finally finish in. Going off topic now but even during the summer and preseason, I’ve total confidence in Emery getting our squad fit and ready. So many times we’ve seen players starting a new season appearing unfit and early results have suffered. Not on Emery’s watch now though.
  13. Still think we’ll finish 8th or 9th, but this is an incredible end to a season for us. Emery and the players have given us all a lift.
  14. Yep, that’s the exact face I pulled
  15. New Balance 327 trainers making a comeback? Seeing loads again and I’m sure I had similar in the 80’s.
  16. Heights, but weirdly it’s depending on the situation I’m in. I don’t really have an issue being on a plane, but you’ll never get me on a rollercoaster or amusement park rides. I’ve taken Mrs F up the Shard even and was ok, but put me on a rope bridge over a lagoon or something and I’ll go into a panic attack.
