  1. If the universe is infinite then it stands to reason that within this universe are an infinite number of other universes, with an infinite number more being created every moment. The great thing about infinity is that literally anything and everything can, has, and will happen. There is another universe where Paul Lambert sells all of his squad, signs a number of people from VillaTalk and goes on to win the Champions League with them. Indeed and there is, in another universe, your post written but the T in Lambert is missing. Incorrect. That's not how it works. There could be an infinite amount of universes where everything is exactly the same. That monkey/typewriter/Shakespeare thing, basically it's bollocks. TBH I wasn't exactly serious but to say its incorrect is also incorrect, whilst it seems highly unlikely no one really knows.
  2. considering he never ever relied on pace then it wont be a problem That is true but that also doesn't mean that his game wouldn't suffer if he became slower or less mobile as it has.

  4. I do love comments like this. Whilst he never relied on his pace that doesn't mean as he gets less mobile it wont effect him, which it has. He's just not right for us anymore anyway. Really? Last time I checked he was a regular for a team who has finished 2nd and won the league in their last two seasons with him in their midfield. If his mobility had diminished would he be starting for a team like that? Nope, he has adapted his game if anything. He'd be a great player for us, what exactly about him isn't right for us? The fact that he's a very good passer? The fact that his positional sense is excellent? The fact that he knows the role of a central midfielder like the back of his hand? The fact that he has top drawer experience? The only issue is wages and that is totally on him. If he was prepared to take a huge cut then I'd welcome him with open arms. Yeah he is and it was last season that he didn't play that well, he's surrounded by world class talent, you cant honestly think he is as good as the other players there and in City terms they had a poor season. They rarely excelled and were poor in CL and Uefa Cup. Many times last season City were televised and he had a poor game. If he stays there next season I doubt he'll get as much game time. If these links are coming up its because his agent is touting him around, I wonder why that is. The fact we play a totally different game, one of high tempo and pressing. Aside from that he just doesn't fit with the philosophy the club and manager is taking, I cant believe people cant see that. The only issue is not wages.
  5. Why shouldn't it carry on then? We've only strengthened the team. There is more chance that it will carry on than not, Have we strengthened the team for definite? Yes

  8. When was the last time we were in for one of European footballs most promising young talents? About 10 months ago Chelsea were after Okore in January, allegedly, so maybe it was a lot more recently than you think? Think he's referring to Benteke
  9. Playing football is not about being a fan its about winning things and earning loads of money.
  10. The team started to look exciting toward the end of the season, 6 wins from 11 and only 2 defeats with Sylla in the team. We've signed some more exciting, young attacking talent. Why would we want to change that to gain, the most overrated word used in football, experience and in a player who has very much seen his best days & struggled last season?
  11. Have no resentment towards him, but I don't want him back. He didn't play that well last year and his lack of pace is really starting to tell. We are a young, mobile and quick team and the club has a new ethos and Barry doesn't fall into any of that. No thanks.
  12. Pretty much, The Mailbox has so far escaped this and so have the pubs etc around Colmore row.
  13. It's also negative Ron Swanson points.
  14. No I doubt it, one thing is for certain there will be more blood and guts than on Grand National day. Oh well, that's a waste of £20 then. Thanks though.
  15. I know less about rugby than I do equine dentistry but is this likely to be a low scoring game?
  16. Don't think that was ever popular, although I appreciate your question never implies that it was I knew a Chinese lad at Uni called Adolf. Richard Herrings 'Hitler Moustache' is worth a watch.
  17. The person at the counter must have thought wow this guy really needs a shit
