  1. I know the CL is still going on but I feel like if we were going to sell him there'd be a lot more in the way of rumblings. We'd certainly be keen to do the business early in the window. I don't want to get ahead of myself, until he's ITSOTP the day after the window is shut I'll always worry, but I'm a lot more confident of him staying than I was on the last day of the season.
  2. If you're going to have a drinks break, you're not playing 2 halves, you're playing 4 quarters. I don't agree with it at all, but I can see it becoming a thing for advertising.
  3. Absolutely love the black away kit. I don't love the camo but the home and away are both quite good.
  4. This is fine, but couldn't they just adjust their sizing labels down a size and avoid this issue altogether? I'm hoping I'll find one in a shop in Australia so I can try it on, but we'll see.
  5. This sort of shit is so annoying. Just size things accurately. They are costing themselves a stack of online sales because people are worried the kit won't fit when it arrives.
  6. Seeing those McGinn pics, I think I'm too fat for this kit. Need to see it on someone who isn't an athlete.
  7. Are we any danger of Man City activating that buyback clause given how important he was late in the season? Even if just to sell on to someone who will pay them more? I don't remember it being clear what we'd get in return for him and there haven't been a lot of whispers so hopefully we're safe.
  8. The club have several famous past shirts as retro kits for sale on the online shop. Hopefully they consider doing a retro release of that Luke promotion season shirt. It's the most popular shirt we've had in ages and it was sold in such limited numbers. Like a lot of people I'm kicking myself for missing out.
  9. I'd be so pissed off if he moved to Arsenal. Surely a Champions League club comes in for him. Edit: If he does leave. I'm less sure than I was a week ago.
  10. I don't like how the sleeve colour goes up into the collar like that, it'd be better if the collar was all claret or all blue.
  11. Looks quite good without being outstanding.
  12. People rave about this particular set of kit mock ups, and they're unquestionably beautiful, but the brilliantly executed template and window dressing is doing the vast majority of the work here. This kit reminds me of a combination of our two recent Under Armour kits. It also benefits from not having sponsors. The best case scenario if you love this kit is the below. A pretty nice kit but it's nothing ground breaking.
  13. Looks like a great appointment if he can scale his talents to a bigger club. His literal claim to fame is uncovering gems and dramatically increasing their output and value. Very happy we've got this sorted so quickly.
  14. Until I see Jermain Defoe drape it over a pallet in the hotel nearest Villa Park, we could play a game in it and I won't believe it's real.
  15. It's gonna be real. Hope it's a training kit. If it's the home kit, I'm hoping that the pattern across the front is less noticeable on field than it appears in the photo. Then it's not totally awful, it's just got too much blue.
  16. I'm guessing in the interests of balance they'll show the goal we had chalked off because Jack 'dived' despite not even appealing for the free kick against Palace?
  17. Always a Villan . Thanks for everything Jack and good luck wherever you end up.
  18. Like most i'd fully come to terms with the fact we were down at 5 points adrift. Unbelievable fight to get out of it, absolutely brilliant. UTV
  19. Got it done. Congrats to him. He absolutely deserves to carry us forward after that.
  20. This is the least fun i've ever had watching football.
  21. God the absolute embarassment. Indistinguishablefrom satire. So glad it's blues that have done this. Just the most cringeworthy, small time thing a professional football club has ever done. Great inspiration to all the little bluenose juniors that if you work hard, you might be able to GTFO of Birmingham City before you turn 18 as well.
  22. This is absolutely overthinking it in my opinion. 100 different scenarios could play out, we can't worry too much about them and ultimately if we're in the drop zone after 70 minutes we need to push for a goal as if it's a cup final. Worry about scenarios as they come out. Play like we did against Arsenal and we're a very good chance.
  23. Bang on. The only acceptable way for that to not be a goal is for the keeper to get something on it and deflect it wide. It was a bad miss to not get it on target. I had a horrible feeling it was going to cost us as the bad miss did in the Everton game. I've only played at a very low level, but as a left footer i've scored multiple goals in this exact fashion. The keeper moves to cover his near post and is completely wrong footed if you tuck it in behind him to the far post. I bet Davis himself would score from that position 9/10 times in training. At this level that should be automatic. Just didn't strike it well and curved it away from the post.
