Great couple races, didn't quite have the fun for race win today but behind was very interesting. The battle between Max and Leclerc today was incredible to watch, so talented the pair of them. Vettel on the other hand is a complete mess.

It was only last week that I was starting to get a little worried with our lack of signings just because we needed so many. Fair to say I'm not worrying anymore, we've gone into overdrive this week.

City have just signed Rodri so they might not be as quick to resign Douglas if he does turn out to be very good. This is exciting though.

You know what, I really like what I'm seeing. I'm not expecting anything crazy next season and just staying up is a bloody good job but I really like what we're building towards. There's quite a clear plan and identity to our targets in that being young, comfortable on the ball and have plenty of room to improve are key attributes. I'm just really pleased we went up with Dean Smith in charge of the club.

Would really like Benrahma but I just don't think that will happen. Trezeguet for £10m doesn't seem like a bad option though.

I've given up trying to justify fees these days. They're all crazy. Mings was absolutely incredible for us, if it takes £20m to bring him in so be it. I'm delighted.

I honestly think he'll do just fine for United and has a decent chance of breaking into the side. Usually don't care once loan players have gone but I hope he goes on to become as good as I expect. Supremely talented player.

Another quiet night to do with Villa transfer news then. Wouldn't say I'm worried at the moment but is it really likely that we're going to sign the 7+ players or so we need?
