  1. I think I'd rather Avram Grant win it this time with Chelsea... than Man Ure.. Just can't stand the thought of "Another double...bla bla bla...
  2. If you're looking to lose weight: I've lost loads doing this and I mean loads...like a size 20 down to a small 14 taken me a couple of years and a trip to NZ.....I walk more and just keep on the go ...also I cut down on Carbs...and upped my intake of low fat things..like no fat yoghurt, having skimmed milk more than semi skimmed. I've tried to cut out crap foods and cut out alot of chemicals also. I drink more water too. I find homemade soup really great...just whatever is in the veg basket/fridge chop up, chuck it in pan, sweat off and then add stock, herbs, seasoning etc and ..voila! I make mean Cheese scones but even those I've cut down by using half fat mature cheese & light cheese spread on them instead of butter.
  3. To the tune of Winter Wonderland.... Song for Petrov.... There's only onnnnnnee Stanley Petrov....Onnnnnee Stanley Petrov We thought he was shite..... but Martin was right Can score from 50yds outright!
  4. I loved Young's 2nd ...Villa's 4th... because the defenders thought Ashley was going to cross the ball into the box.. when actually he left them standing and took ithe ball on himself into the penalty box to score!
  5. I see the Manx got their act together, created a new anthem for Old Trafford and got the crowd singing it all last Saturday with a band. Shame we can't do the same at Villa Park, which was one of reasons this thread was started many moons ago!!
  6. Dear General As you will know our Youth side thumped Ipswich last night 5-0 to get though to the next round of the Youth Cup. Not sure as yet who they will face in the next round, it may be Carlisle or Southend. If it's Carlisle then they have a striker called Stephen Hindmarsh, who scored the winner for Carlisle when they knocked Man Utd's Youth team out in the last round. He's made all the headlines up in Cumbria, & rightly so, he's looked a quality player since he was about 9! He played for Keswick with my lads all through school & all the parents & coaches said he would be a star! I know his family well & he's a nice lad from Borrowdale near Keswick. He made his debut for Carlisle at age 16 & we all think he's destined for great things!. If we play Carlilse next round in the Youth Cup, please make Tony McAndrew aware, they will have their hands full with him. I'm no talent scout but I do pride myself on the fact that a fair few years ago I saw Villa's youth team win the Midlands Cup beating Notts Forrest youth side on a horrid wintry night at Villa Park & came back to tell a friend Gareth Barry & Darius Vassell, would play for England one day......Maybe Stephen might be worth a scout having a look at otherwise, he may well get snapped up by another club. Edit: Just found out it's Carlisle, they beat Southend 2-0. The game is at Brunton Park in Carlisle.... so here's one Villa fan who will be there to watch!

That's kinda the way I was thinking too! Its like No 3 is.... this is what we've done.. The past...What we're about now is the future...& this is our new badge...which is why I personally prefer No 2

I'm voting for Number 2.. Its simple but will look stunning as a huge flag!
  10. No one's mentioned him but what about Peter Taylor????, U21s were awesome when he managed the team. He's used to the FA and their ways so maybe he'd be an outside bet to get the job.

    Top Gear

  12. I thought the words were Gabby Gabby Gabby Gabby Gabby Agbonlahor When he gets the ball he's gonna score....ooooore
  13. or how about last line to Chorus "Curtis Davies ....stuff the fee Cos Laursen's knee he's meant to be"
  14. I was gonna post this on Curtis Davies Chants thread but it got locked! Anyhow if he does sign....to the tune of Gabrielle.. "Out of Reach" Knew the signs West Brom are shite Just so stupid What a waste Came Villa's way Claret and Blue Got rid of Ridgewell to the Styyyy Not confused, you'll be bruised Him and Laursen on the pitch Chorus: Curtis Davies ...our star Baggies never had his heart Curtis Davies ....you'll see Always Villa's meant to be LISTEN Or something on those lines
  15. Did I hear at least one rendition of Culture Club Chameleon Gabby, Gabby, Gabby, from Upper Holte LH side? I know Holte sang the other one too, but thought I heard this one too
  16. I've NEVER stopped beleiving that our club is good hands since the day MON walked in to VP about 12 months ago........Looks like Sunderland may have hiked the price to make sure MON didn't get the chance to talk to Gordon, who by all accounts wasn't too keen on straying too far over the border in any case! Can't beleive the abuse that's all ready and waiting to be hurled at MON & Co at the drop of a hat before anyone knows the true facts.
  17. I think there's a few more songs that have been suggested, that are popular too since the front page article. Would be nice if the club would get involved.
  18. Don't forget the next bit!! He gets the ball He scores a gooooalll!! The " I'd like to give the world a song" is good too but its getting the words remembered.
  19. The Gabby, Gabby, Gabby....Agbonlahor to Culture Club is short and easy to remember as well!! I likes NRC He puts his left leg in, his left leg out etc but there were a couple of other suggestions.
  20. I'll be listening and joining in. Some great suggestions from others on here BTW Moore Moore Moore how do u like it and get us a hattrick could be alternated! Pointing at the opposing fans when he's scored, wherever they'll be cos they won't be straight ahead anymore !
  21. 9 OUT, 2 IN = DOWN 7 STEIBER & O'HALLORAN PROMOTED = DOWN 5 Therefore we need 5 more players in the squad to keep the status quo surely?
