We need to start playing 4-4-2 diamond for me! Guzan Hutton Richards Okore Lescott Sanchez Gueye Veretout Gil Kozak Ayew Look to buy a keeper, striker and box to box midfielder in January as well as bringing Cissokho back. Austin as striker, no idea for keeper or centre mid but we need Prem experience for the midfielder.

Looked good last night. I'm dreaming of seeing Grealish, Gil, and Traore behind Ayew at some point with them all interchanging! Sinclair, Gabby and Gestede as impact subs!

Sherwood hadn't been able to field his best XI yet, when he does we'll look much better! First choice Defence has only conceded 3 in 3 which is a good start!

Moses is a good player but too similar to what we have, we need a striker who can play up top on his own. Afobe looks good, but would cost the same as Austin.

I think Ayew would be be best option at the moment. Gestede is best off the bench, Gabby needs to sod off, Kozak isn't fancied. . . Hopefully we'll have a new signing soon.

Other than Adebayor or Austin are there any other options?

I think we've spent too much on Ayew when that money should have gone on somebody who could hit the ground running. We need someone with Prem experience, other than Austin or Adebayor who else is there?

We'll sign Lescott and loan Baker out for the year. Lescott becomes our second choice left back and first change centre half. Will get plenty of game time if Clark is out of form, if Richards ever needs to go to right back or if we ever play 3 at the back. Baker gets a full season under his belt which is much needed. And he's a villa fan! Win win for me!

Call me crazy but I think Sherwood could get the best out of Balotelli on loan!

From the new signings: Gana & Amavi will be class this year - enjoy them while we can. Hopefully Traore will fit into this category too. Richards, Gestede and Sinclair know the English game and will be good for us. Veretout & Ayew will take the season to settle by the looks of things - don't expect too much. Bunn and Crespo were bought as back up and I'm sure they'll be fine for this purpose. Overall I think we need a new striker, and either a centre mid or centre back depending on what formation Sherwood plans on playing the most. For what's it's worth I think we'd suit a 4-2-3-1 best. -
Best player on the pitch for the first 30 minutes yesterday. When he's up to the speed of the Prem and full fitness he'll be excellent. Dare I say it, he Reminds me of Essien.

We need a main striker to challenge Gestede. Embolo? We also need a central midfielder of Sherwood persists with 3 in the middle, preferably a creative one. Praet?

He'll be too good for us very soon. We'll make a decent proof though and let's enjoy him whilst we have him!

He needs time to settle and will be benched when Grealish and Gil are back. I was surprised at the time that we spent so much on him. I think we'll regret not spending 2m extra and getting Rondon.

I also think there'll be a twist on transfer deadline day! I hope not because I really don't want him. Let's go young and hungry for a striker to compete with Gestede.
