  1. Habib Beye is doing well for Doncaster, get him back, couldn't be any worse than Hutton till the end of the year!
  2. 10 games to go in my first season as Villa, and i'm joint 4th. Giovanni Dos Santos (4m) is awesome, as is Toby Alderweireld (4.2m), and Alex Teixera (4.2m)
  3. Dunne and Clark as first choice going forward for me! In the next two windows we need a new CB, RB and LB, but they need to be the right players for the club going forward!
  4. Gotta get a game soon surely! I'd like to see him next to Petrov in a 4-4-2
  5. 10 goals in 38 appearences in a shit Wigan side is very impressive. Is exciting to watch also! More of a Young replacement that a Downing replacement for me.
  6. I would lose all faith in the board if they appoint Mcleash. We need a Mclaren style reaction!
  7. Mcleish?!?! It doesn't worry me that he would be coming from the scum, but he plays awful football, just got his team relegated and has a dodgy history in the transfer market.
  8. I don't understand why Moyes would come here as 2nd choice after we were rejected by 1st choice Roberto Martinez. . . . .
  9. We should have gone for Jol! Will do well with Fulham!
  10. I find it unbelievable that the manager of Wigan has turned us down. I would happily take either Moyes, Hughes, Rijkard or Coyle (In that order), but which of those will want to come knowing they were second choice to Martinez?!
  11. So it's not Jol or Ancelotti, and Hughes is apparently ruled out too. I find it unlikely that Moyes would move sideways from Everton, so I'm not sure who that leaves who i'd really. I'm warming to the idea of Rijkard I think.
  12. I think if you want to bet some smart money, it'll be Hiddink to Chelsea, Jol to Fulham and Hughes to Villa.
  13. One of the main benefits if Hughes comes would hopefully be getting the best out of Ireland. Lets face it, no one will take him off our hands at the moment so we might as well try and play him.
  14. 1. Moyes 2. Hughes 3. Rijkaard 4. Jol Moyes has done exceptionally at Everton, and should be first choice. Hughes finished well with Fulham this year with no money, and has previously done well with Blackburn and Wales. He also did well with Man City before the ridiculous money was spent. Rijkard would hopefully bring a good style of football, and an opportunity to get some good players. Jol would also be a decent appointment.
  15. I'm suprised Mark Hughes hasn't had more votes on here. He has done exceptionally at most places he has been, and especially with a Fulham team this year. He also has historys with some of our problematic (but proven quality) players such as Dunne, Warnock and Ireland. If he could get those three sorted it would save us a lot of money.
  16. Started as Villa, finished 6th in the 1st season winning the league cup as well. Signed Smithies 700k Gibbs Loan Subotic 8m - Beast Micah Richards - 4.2m Lucas 6m Fleck 700k Chamberlain 1.6m Kadlec 1.4m Wickham 3m Got rid of Marshall, Dunne, Beye, L.Young, Petrov, Salifou, Heskey Obviously trying to get rid of the older players and bring in some future stars. Already have Moussa Sissoko lined up for next year.
  17. If he's getable then Moyes, but if not there are a few other options out there. For me, If Houllier doesn't make the decision to retire, we should make it for him. 1)Moyes 2)Hughes 3)Coyle 4)Jol
  18. He needs to start getting a place on the bench, is an excellent option for the last 20 minutes of games when we need a goal!
