  1. It’s just so bad. It’s not even a grower. How do we get this wrong all the **** time
  2. I have a sneaky feeling they will cave and keep the round badge.
  3. Why do you think that out of interest? Because of the lack of consultation? I doubt the FA really have the teeth or desire to stop it. I’m sure Villa can successfully fudge that they abided by the consultation rules. This whole thing is a joke. What exactly does the club have to gain by pissing off a fan base and having a shit badge?
  4. These deals look into the future, not the past. They are backed by Saudi Arabia. They will dominate just like City. Just needs a bit of time.
  5. Nope. The fans literally voted on the current, better badge. I was never a massive fan of the round badge but right now I’m utterly desperate for it to remain over the Lerner/Heck shield.
  6. I’m still sad it didn’t work out.
  7. I feel like after all this is over I never want to look at a Villa badge ever again anyway
  8. I hope everyone has calmed down about the no VAR high line stuff. The linos get it right and flat almost all the time.
  9. Douglas Luiz has been playing like someone has been whispering to him he’s shit in his sleep and he’s lost all faith and confidence. So weird.
  10. Yup. Don’t really get the whinging about him. Clearly a toss pot and poor ref but it shouldn’t matter at all. A top PL team should win this 3-0 plus
  11. Yup. Didn’t want to be that harsh but you’re basically right. Who even cares about who wins the FA Cup if it isn’t your team? I couldn’t say with certainty who won it last year but I assume city and it’s the league cup they failed at.
  12. It’s been happening gradually over the years. Give it a few more and it’ll be little more than the league cup.
  13. Villa are worse. Anything the ref does shouldn’t be that relevant unless it’s game changing. So shit. Yet again in a cup game.
  14. The least surprising performance. 7 years of FA Cup misery, crashing out of the league cup and playing dire in all but one conference league game doesn’t exactly fill me with joy for cup ties.
  15. The evidence suggests we don’t rely on VAR. VAR has only overturned one goal against us because it wasn’t flagged offside (Garnacho in the Man Utd game). Otherwise the linos have gotten it right: https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/38196464/how-var-decisions-affect-premier-league-club-2023-24
  16. Like in the Shef Utd game where there was VAR?
  17. Was literally just thinking this. We are about to kick off again and the penalty wouldn’t have been taken yet.

    Jhon Durán

You can somewhat get away with it if you’re a generational talent like Balotelli (albeit he threw it all away). Duran is bang average.
  19. O’Nein has Martinez vibes. Proper arsehole but if he’s in your team I bet you’d love it. Just generally infuriating but in quite a tactical way.
  20. Well this is it. Maybe I’m just looking back with tinted specs but I swear game changing refereeing mistakes never happened that often. VAR just seems to create more by massively dissecting everything. The number of mistakes corrected is not worth the wholesale impact it has had on the enjoyment of the game, and this game proves that.
  21. They usually do tbf. Not many goals against us have gone to VAR
  22. Ooo no VAR!!! Thank Christ. If a goal goes in we can actually celebrate and no pissing around with offsides being massively delayed.
