Totally agree on both points. On Bruce in particular. People seem to forgive others for the shit going on behind the scenes but not him. And he was facing incredible personal battles. And he did very nearly get us promoted. I thought he was professional throughout and the hate he gets is just from prior connections and his all-round journeyman aura but in a long line of shite managers I don’t think he’s one of them.
Give him time. Bailey took a long time to come good. So did Douglas Luiz and any number of other players. I don’t think he’d be playing in this number 10 role if Buendia were fit
I think it’s just clear we overachieved for a while and our players cannot keep up that insane level of form and energy. Plus I think if we don’t have our exact starting XI we are immediately half the team. We really have to strengthen in the summer
Cheers. I’m lucky with work actually. They’ve gone from “you can work from home 2 days a week” to “please work from home as much as you can because we really CBA expanding the office”
Woke up feeling like I’d smoked a thousand cigarettes. Took a covid test as had one knocking about out of intrigue more than anything and what do you know Ive got it again. What do people actually do these days if you’ve got it??
He’s definitely got something in there that can be unlocked. We should all know better than to be writing players off this early now. That being said, if he did want to leave I don’t think anyone would particularly miss him.
I suspect the former answers the latter. It’s going to be for some sort of tax reason. I don’t think it will be a coincidence that he has decided to remain outside of the UK when a bunch of PL clubs would still take him…
