    I think youll be disappointed. This is Dyche football in action. There’s a reason Burnley stayed up so long. This is so hard to play against.

    Tbf we have scored a loootttt of goals late in the game so I’d leave them to it to get it right rather than just hoof and run. If we lose possession we can easily lose

    We really struggle to break down these teams that play like bastards. That’s what separates us from the likes of City and Liverpool. Obviously it’s almost impossible for us to directly compete with them but City would be 3-0 up despite all to Everton’s bullshit

    Because a culture of relentlessly and constantly abusing refs means people don’t ref, and this is the resulting standard. It isn’t rocket science but clearly far beyond the grasp of football fans.

    Poor refereeing but our players seriously lack discipline.

    I’m involved with an FA and we have never made more money from fines through discipline. It’s awful. But change has to come from the top and no one is willing to commit to stopping cheating, abuse and dissent. “Oh but refs are shit so let’s abuse them”. Yes that’ll help. And why do you think the standard is so low???

    It’s **** exhausting. The only reason I enter these threads is because you get goal updates faster if you’re out or have a shit stream. But Christ alive all it is is whining about officiating absolutely non stop. I get it’s mostly shit but even a 50/50 yellow will get three pages of conspiracy theories and rage.

    This is where all of the issue lies. Right there. No one wants to referee anymore. I can tell you first hand that the local game absolutely cannot recruit or retain refs anymore. It’s never been easier to get up to the PL.

    Would love to see the minutes of the meeting for PGMOL and the FA where they all decided to conspire against Villa for bantz. It’s amazing it hasn’t been leaked by anyone and absolutely everyone was on board with the project.

    It’ll take much more than ditching VAR. No one wants to referee anymore because of the culture of abuse, dissent and cheating. Failure by the FA to properly deal with that has killed officiating.

    These match threads are 80-90% talking about officiating these days. Not every decision is “corruption”. Maybe try and enjoy other aspects of the game.

    1) the pitch cutting lines aren’t perfect, 2) the camera lines are and 3) perspective, which we don’t get from that image. It was off. Now we need to score more.

    NSWE are responsible for the people they hire. The buck stops with them for everything. I agree with the original post - they are weirdly bullet proof on here. I love the bulk of what they have done and I am forever grateful, but the current shambles off the pitch is on them.
