The FA Cup Final used to be a huge event. The build up for it all week was massive. Nowadays it just seems like just another game. Chelsea would rather finish 4th than win the FA Cup, I would wager. Meh, maybe its me being a miserable old sod! ?

Abysmal final. Poor football and players constantly gesticulating to the referee that other players should be booked. Stadium looked half empty at the beginning and after half time as the corporate whores were late taking to their seats. Modern football - shove it up yer arses!

Christ, who steals car radios stereos now? Its like going back to the 90's! I remember having to cary my Pioneer 'face off' stereo with me when I parked up in town. Mind you, it was more valuable then the car it was in!

What annoyed me the other day was two teenage lads at my local train statin wearing Man City tops! Turns my stomach.

Yep, I did the same. I had a Barcelona, Netherlands, Roma and Argentina top. Used for for playing football or down the gym when I was younger. Like you said, they were last seasons and were very cheap (probably less then a tenner each).

Delusions of grandeur.

Grandparents were working class - they worked in factories all their lives and lived within walking distance of work... in traditional working class areas (Aston & Ladywood) I guess my parents were the ones who went from working class to middle class - my Dad started as a carpenter living in Kingstanding, then had a change of career, starting wearing a suit and moved (with my Mom) to Erdington and then latterly Sutton Coldfield. 2 cars and foreign holidays followed (late 80's). I was raised in a typically middle class household. Therefore I'm middle class. I work, I live in Four Oaks and I'm 'comfortable'. I have worries, but luckily money isn't one of them, due to 1) my job and 2) never spending any money!
