And you wonder why the owner sent round an email to 50 people who he considers to be the prominent members of the IOM 'social scene' in order to try and gather some ideas on how to revive the place. To be fair the Abbey was lovely when I went last year, and I will have to try MacFarlane's.. maybe there's more than I thought!!

Rotate with four different ones over here - there's a fifth one i'd love to go to but it means not drinking or paying a shed load for a taxi return. I think there is a lack of top class restaurants for obvious reasons, but then again it wouldn't be a regular occurrence to spunk £150-£200 on a meal for two anyway.

Needs regular football, much in the same way Delph struggled through it for a year or two or so while he got used to his effectively new knee. Gardner, unless we have catastrophic injuries to the likes of Delph/Westwood/El Ahmadi at the same time, isn't going to get that here. So whether he has to leave on a free or via the loan system (which would indeed be my preference as the lad deserves a chance here when he's fully fit), he needs to do it sharpish for the sake of his career.

Blind-faith if I ever saw it...Every now and again I see posters in off topic that state they avoid the main section of the site due to posters who can start an argument in an empty house.
