This No doubt. TS assessing his squad in matches and every player has/had/will have the same chance. NZog or Bac, may be Cole too. Fair assessment is the key.
  2. They don't like him because he plays a limited brand of football. Ok, I have got it, they want him to play Barcelonasque football with Championship players. WHU are big overachievers only thanks to Big Sam. We played limited football under MON too...
  3. What is the problem between Big Sam and WHU fans? I did not catch it. Despite only three PL points on board, the way and style of our play was highly watchable minus ten minutes of hoofing the ball against Newcastle. And this is TS work, no doubt. For me, his win ratio is 50% - yes I count 2nd half vs. Foxes as TS match too.
  4. Based on his performance in BT Sports post match show, he seems to be very intelligent man and a good speaker too. I can see now, why he was a captain of his team (Blackburn it was I think, or Spurs too?). I like his banter with Hutton's stretch on Berahino's cob
  5. I agree with that. Lambert's problem was always balance with us. He couldn't get everything right at once. It seems, that there are more problems left by PL regime. Did you see Fletch and Sav show last night (or what that idiotic name of the show sounds)? TS claimed, that he can not slate previous management, as it could be very easy, but his players have not been prepared very well (on fittness side) for the style and tempo of his preffered tactics. But just few seconds before re-thinking, he started the sentence something like his players are not fit enough but stopped and invented a better formula as stated in previous sentence. Did anyone catch it?
  6. I think it was going in. Shame he did not convert his previous volley. Would be a massacre in front of Holte End. Overall, well done Young Padawan.
  7. I think he was instructed free to roam by TS. Even after Bacuna filled AMR/MR slot. It was the main factor for his better performance and was really influentual in the last 15 minutes.
  8. It's a worry especially if Cisshoko isn't back. At least one game that he'll miss will be a cup game. Clark is also one booking away from a two games ban. Cissokho is not a footballer.
  9. Where can you find a footballer without a brain? Help: It is not Gabby. His action could cost us all points. I am not happy about it.
  10. Eh? Delph is completely different - he drives forward with the ball and takes his man on. They play in a totally different way, but I do agree that they play the same sort of position. I still think we'd benefit from a true attacking midfielder in our midfield, with Delph OR Westwood alongside No way, sorry for that, but they are ideal duo to play i.e. two DMCs sitting in front of defence, one as a ballwinner and deep lying playmaker (Westy) and one as a box-to-box midfielder (Delphy). In case of diamond which we played last night, Westy played as a DMC and Delphy with Cleverley as box-to-box. It was NZog role to play AMC but he did not convince me. I think Padawan Jack was better than NZog in AMC slot. Edit: typo. Yep they can play as a DM duo, but what I mean is I think they're both best suited to a link up role. A proper DM (Sanchez?) and a proper AM (Gil?) with Westwood or Delph playing next to the DM would be a good 3 man midfield, imo. I am really sorry again, but I can not rate Sanchez as a proper DMC. He is so shaky, Championship player at most. I hope I will be wrong about him but not now. Best DMC is Westy by a mile. So underrated player with so much hard work done. Shame he is so lightweight. My ideal diamond is Westy - Cleverley, Delphy - Young Padawan Jack currently, if playing without wingers. Credit to TS that he realised, that clasic 4-4-2 is shaky for Villa and changed to 4-1-2-1-2 as he obviousy wanted to play Gabby as a poacher with Tekker as a flick-on man. With wingers, it is a different story, but I would go with Westy, Delphy - Gil, Cleverley, Sinclair - Tekker as a lone striker, bringing Young Padawan as a first AM substitute.

  12. We must have watched a different game and a different N'Zogbia. I too didn't like him starting, but he looked like a completely different player to the one we've seen in a Villa shirt before. Yes, a few times he tried a run that didn't come off (as all of our attacking players did occasionally), but his little flicks, one-twos and link up play was almost completely spot on. He was vital to many of our attacking moves in the first half. That was probably Zog's best game for us, in my opinion. Nothing special, mediocre performance from NZog and he should shoot after his solo run into the box few minutes before substitution. His flicks on the touchline were dangerous sometimes for our defence, as there was always a threat of counterattacks by WBA.
  13. ... I'm still a little dubious about Grealish and his contribution when attacking, perhaps he's nervous and needs to take a leap of faith to run at his man more often. UTV! As the match time flowed, more and more was Grealish involved in our attacking moves. When nobody wanted to dig deep for the ball, he was one of only two who wanted the ball constantly. Everybody else were just expecting to hoof it over the pitch. Jack deserves a start on Saturday and it can be his breaking performance.
  14. Might this be an Agent "Foster" net week wages ticket? http://goo.gl/zB7L54 We will see on Saturday, but it smells not good. Edit: F@ck the shortlinking...

I like that selection a lot and I think at left back you'll have to say Lowton again thought he did pretty good at Newcastle I like it too, but fixed for you

    Interesting. Any thoughts or details?
  17. Yea it was something like he has had less than half the amount of touches this season than he did the previous one. Needs the ball to score goals. We keep using him just to flick headers to the opponent's defense and it doesn't work. It is very easy...give the f@cking ball to Benteke. Last match, Benteke did almost so much than the rest of the team altogether. Edit: typo.

Fixed Please, no Sanchez until he is ready for and accomplished in PL.
  19. I am sure his place is under Benteke, something like AMC or Trequartista if you want. I was sad that he did not play against Stoke.
  20. Overhyped player. I do not realize what see some Villa fans on him. Poor passer, weak under pressure and giving the ball to the opposition constantly. Re. lightweight midfield: this is well known con of Villa squad and it is a fail of Villa's previous managers. Whole team is lightweight minus Benteke and Kozak.
  21. What is wrong with you people? We have lost the game due a stupid schoolboy individual error done by our captain. Stoke did not play well, because we did not allow them to play well. We have had better chances after all. If Weimann had better crossing or passing, it would be three points. Players to drop: Agbonlahor, Sanchez, Weimann, Cissokho (if possibe) Players on: Cleverley, Westwood, Grealish and Richardson (if possible).
  22. Good week cries to be even better by adding three points against Stoke. Welcome back KMac.
  23. What's girly about Charlemagne? One of the biggest badasses in European history! Exactly! And Ulrich is man's name too. It seems that his family has strong German connection. EDIT: Moderator: back to the topic guys
  24. My guess is it will go to general sale, but that it will also sell out. So yes, but you'll probably have to be quick Ok thank for info, waiting for general sale is the best option then. How much tickets will be allocated to Villa fans? And as foreigner, will it be safe to travel for this derby match?
