No Lowton ? No Westwood ? Very odd selection Liverpool will dominate possession again, so we need our best counter attacking team on the pitch. Sylla & Delph are our best CMs for breaking up play and Lichaj has more pace than Lowton.

I read in a paper that Benteke is on 20K and will be offered a new contract at the end of the season so... I would guess Weimann's probably on 10K-15K (considering he is from our youth system) and is demanding about 30-40K

Let me help you understand why: Money. Lowton needs to get his concentration back to where it was at the start of the season. He has the skills to keep posession, but has coughed up a few times lately and it cost us against Arsenal. "Money" ..... erm they both cost 3m and Clyne is younger so his wage demands would have been similar.

I'm not a fan of Lowton anymore. I like his high work rate but he just doesn't have enough pace, plus his crosses are poor. I'll never understand why Lambert didn't snap up Nathaniel Clyne before Southampton.
