  1. PSN: Daniel1Avfc I play Fifa 13, Black Ops2 so on....all the good games really
  2. Sack Adkins and replace him with the espanyol manager who cant speak english, This is good news for villa, i'd expect to see Southampton slowly slip down the table in the next coming months
  3. Lambert never uses 433, his most used formations are 41212 or 4231 id be happy with this attack: Benteke Gabby N'Zogbia Weimann Delph Westwood or Benteke Weimann Ireland N'Zogbia Agbonlahor Westwood

  5. Yeah, i know its just a minor thing, (Facebook has it *a very popular site*) I would rather just simply click "Like" on a comment, then have to quote a post then write something like "i agree" so on... Plus people "Liking" posts rather then quoting and replying to them would use up less pages. If it does cost to much to change this minor thing, then i would say just leave it as it is, but i would also say addressing all the small problems would lead to a bigger and better site imo.
  6. If Lambert is saying we can't splash the cash and get the club into debt, then theres newspapers that say otherwise. I know who i believe. (If Lambert is bluffing then thats great)
  7. When i try to like someones comment, it says something like 'error youve "liked" enough comments for one day' but then it let me like 2 comments in the space of about 2hours then popped up again (this was in the afternoon)... When you're a New Member you have a certain ammount of posts per 24hours and there is text above the reply box, to notify people when they are next aloud to comment. Could you be able to bring this method into play for the liking system? the error notification method is quite annoying as it doesn't inform you properly imo, does it recycle from every 24hours from 12am or what? Surely it would be an improvement to the site having the count down system that i explained above? so people could have a certain ammount of likes per day, then be notified when they are next allowed to like posts again? or maybe forget notifications and give everyone unlimited likes per day? (Would doing any of the above cost extra money? if so then i understand....)
  8. The bottom line is, it's Lerner's fault for this predicament we find ourselves in. If Paul Lambert gets sacked then i will not be a happy bunny.
  9. isn't Harry Maguire at West Ham? EDIT: I was thinking of Sean Maguire....
  10. He's estimated at 10-12m, so you tell me?
  11. You need to read it again properly. "Since when are people's opinions equivalent too newspaper articles?" The "people's opinions" part refering to the villa fan who wrote in his first sentence of the article "A familiar name has emerged in recent transfer gossip" GOSSIP GOSSIP GOSSIP.
  12. Since when are people's opinions equivalent too newspaper articles? Don't try to nit pick, it just makes you look worse.
  13. Ok go and find me a single link to Dale Stephens "this" transfer window. (Good luck with that) JulieB was reporting the gossip from twitter, those who acknowledged this, are the ones who didn't have their knickers in a twist.
  14. Darren Bent is shit... His lazy, loses possession and doesn't suit villa's style of play (We aren't Barcelona) He bench warmed at Spurs because hes shit. At Sunderland 99% of his goals were tap ins from about 3 yards out and that 1% was from him being full of confidence living off his own hype. (Who in our team can assist him? Young, Downing and Milner jumped on their bikes a while ago now) If you have to question why Lambert isn't starting him, then i would have to question you, how many games this season have you watched him play? (MOTD highlights fan boys opinions don't compare to those who have watched every game this season start to finish) Benteke has potential, when he had confidence he looked like a Real Madrid striker. Bent is in his prime years but is still gash.
  15. No, the Dale Stephens rumour is from twitter. No newspaper articles have links us to him this transfer window.
  16. Personally i believe we'll just edge it out the relegation zone, just like last season. We will see who's opinion is more realistic come the end of the transfer window, but i'll stick to my word nevertheless.
  17. Arshavin, Chris Brunt & Hangeland are all free in the summer, if they aren't offered new contracts from their clubs. (I don't think arsenal will give Arshavin a new contract) I would definitely sign him and stick him CAM... his lazy but top class on the ball, as he showed in the euro's for russia.
  18. Yes i know, but someone could argue that the extra million or 2 could buy a better player e.g. buy Stephens for 3.5m on jan 1st or buy Sissoko for 5m on deadline day (who potentially could help us out in the long term, because its only half way through the season)
  19. Well thats just **** great that is, well done chelsea
  20. So did i at first. but just think about it... in the last transfer window he bought Benteke (his most expensive signing) on the last day. Now its january teams ramp up their players prices, so Lambert obviously wants to leave it right until the deadline so he can get the most out of his small budget. (ive read in numerous newspapers that claim his only got a budget of 10m)
  21. The interview was quite a while ago, sorry i cant remember word for word exactly what he said but it was somewhere in the lines of this: (after a loss the reporter asked when are you going to start signing new players because the team looked poor *he wasnt that brutal that he said we were poor but he implied it in a nicer kind of way* then Lambert said the team lacked strength and thats what he wanted to address this transfer window. Then he said we'll start to look at bringing in players once the bradford games out of the way. I watched the interview on my ps3, theres this thing for ps3 called "bbc sport player" (no, not iplayer) and it shows the full post match interviews. whereas MOTD just shows certain parts...
  22. We aren't signing anyone until after the bradford game, ive wrote this before about 30 pages back but no one ecknowledged it. I know this because i watched a post match interview where Lambert was asked and he basically spelt it out. (Bradford game is 22nd i think)
  23. So spending 24 million on Bent is the same as spending 12 million on Milner is it?
  24. His 350k, thats worth about 3 quid in Lerner's eyes. Worth a shot. Brentford play Chelsea in the cup soon, im sure there will be a free link up on firstrowsports.com (as its Chelsea playing) feel free to watch the game and see how well he does against a top team?
  25. If Lambert was to spend his entire budget on a CB & CDM, then i don't see why we shouldn't bring back Harry Forrester while his got that 350k buy out clause in his contact. (i don't believe he could be any worse than Holman or Ireland are for us) It's better then not bringing in a CAM at all. imo after we've sorted out the defence, then the next problem to address is not having anyone in the team that can link up with Benteke.
