I wouldn't blame him for going to Stoke compared to us considering our current situation. I would be intrigued considering the changes that are happening at Villa but Stoke would look safer and their might be a familiar face there or two. More surprised about the fact that either of us are involved in this one. It's not same ordeal as it has been for the other players they have picked up from there. Would be a shame as I heard a lot of positive things about him and he looks to be an absolute top prospect. I'm still going to hope that this will pan our way but I had my doubts about this since I first heard about it. Hopefully we get a chance to convince him that this is a better place to go.

I heard of Adama but never really seen him play outside of youtube. Isn't he the highest rated one from their academy bar Halilovic? Stoke does seem more likely considering what they are going for and the other barca players that have gone there. On the other hand, none of it seems likely at all.

Some teams I like more than others but there is nothing that even comes close to Villa for me, not even a little bit. Also having a second team in the same country seems kinda wrong for me, specially when it's the same league. Loyalty is nearly non existant in players these days, I couldn't stomach it if came down to that for fans as well. Those cretins for pool or united is hard enough to bare. Nothing wrong with having a soft spot but there is fine line here for me. As for Arsenal, I don't think they will go on to push much further than they did last season. Cech was a much needed and an excellet buy but for me they are missing another striker and a more dominant midfielder. I think I have mentioned him before but someone like Kondogbia.

Do we know of anything barring Adebayor? Are there more on the horizon? A CB or anything else? I kinda get the feeling that we are done for now.

I like Baker but I hope he improves a bit. His mistakes always end up costly. Everything else is great about him.

I don't really see us chasing any more players if Adebayor comes in, specially with Baker signing a new deal. Unless Clark is on the way out which would be a bummer.

I would prefer if Kozak got adeboyer's spot and the club rather allocated the money for a cb.

I know it's been brought up before but what about Donacien? Could he adequate cover for now if it comes down to it? I really don't want to lose Clark, I thought he had some really good games last season. Baker is replacable even if I like him.

I can't decide on what I should expect. I want many signings and I want them now Just really hope that we really do it this summer, no excuses. Get in some proper players, we are supposed to kick on at some point aren't we.

But surely we should have some money from the "get-go" of this summer? We can't rely solely on the money we earned from selling players, not now considering where we are and our squad. Also not taking into account of all the players that have left and the wages they had with them. There should be a lot more and I get the feeling we won't see a single dime of that. At most, 25-30m left for this window.
