  1. I think we'll be able to do fine in the next games. I can see us getting 1-2 wins from the 3 upcoming fixtures. I don't see us losing against either West Ham or Cardiff though.
  2. I think we should be able to rack up a few points from the up and coming fixtures. Newcastle looked in shambles today to ,an albeit strong, Sunderland. Personally I think we'll be able to beat West Ham for one and I'm looking forward to the weekend.
  3. I still think we'll end up roughly where we're at right now come the end of the season. We'll have bad games, like yesterday's game, shocking games, like when we beat Man C, and generally solid games, like when we beat WBA (mmm that game was great).
  4. Yet maybe he will. Considering how negative we play at times, he'll see a lot of action. Isn't that what football players want besides a fat paycheck?
  5. I think we played great defensively and, to be honest, that freekick was a screamer that no goalie would've been able to deflect. What really disappointed me was that we invited them to completely dominate the game by means of really negative football. If you allow a team to go at you again and again then you're only inviting these results, especially from quality teams like Everton. You can get lucky a few times and win a game that way. However it doesn't hurt to try and hold the ball and push the game further up the pitch whilst slowing the tempo down either.
  6. Lionel Messi can't be bought for anything less than an astronomical sum of moon dollars.
  7. A reliable source just told me that Aston Villa are currently performing a medical on up-and-coming central attacking midfielder Noah Bawdy.
  8. feels rather petty to have beef with Norwich of all clubs really...
  9. Couldn't agree more. On a normal day I would be anxious about this fixture, but considering their current situation (and ours) I think we actually have a clear shot at them.
  10. the other 29,7% is pure Francium. Is that why he's not supposed to play in the rain then? why wouldn't we want this effect coming from his foot? http://i.imgur.com/6TEnd.gif
  11. I'm with the majority on this one. He's been a good signing and I only think he'll improve with time.
  12. great day to be a Villa fan! still shaky, but damn what a game.
  13. this game is bloody goddang amazing is all I can say. my heart man, my heart!
  14. If we play Tonev we better inform NASA to adjust the orbit of the international space station so its nowhere near Villa Park hahaha, yup.
  15. I sure as hell hope we win this. It's about time really. Then again, WBA weren't bad against Everton and that's a strong team. Seems the two Birmingham teams have had very complementary results ahead of this. Still, I think the lads are overdue a win at home and will want to pursue it vigorously come match day.
  16. ^this. plus we could use some stability at the back. I know we haven't been able to have that because of injuries too, so yes, shrewd signing indeed.
  17. well they're going to score, that's for sure. it boils down to whether we're able to abuse their defense or not (they're pretty out of shape at the back, so who knows...). doubt we'll win, hoping for at least a draw, but I'm not optimistic about this game and I can see us taking a beating yet again.
  18. no it really doesn't. I'm always curious about how new signings (loan and permanent) perform come match day, so I want to see him play.
  19. wow, this could very well be a great signing. hope to see him on the pitch against Liverpool.
