  1. Tony You Boa? He'd be OK, he's still 26 according to his agent.
  2. Good example. We need to recruit more snakes.
  3. It's a valid concern. I suggest we offer him a trial with a view to a possible loan with a pre-agreed fee should we decide to keep him at the end of the season.
  4. Yes, he's got things ahead of everyone else previously but the Targett tweet was waaay behind. He said nothing, from what I saw, that hadn't already been said several hours before by several sources.
  5. Quite so. It's as much a link as when I read a few days ago he was likely to be going on loan me thinking we should move in. I very much thought it but that doesn't make me an ITK and the notion of him signing a link. Mores the pity. Being able to created links and effect transfers with the power of my mind would make me much more useful than that @Delphinho123 guy
  6. Disappointed with that. I was hoping they'd be parting with him under distress sale circumstances thus getting raped on the fee.
  7. Me too, I didn't like the little shite when he was our manager. My only source of regret is the revolting, arrogant, chippy, obnoxious, pube-headed word removed gets paid off when he gets blown out.
  8. They do a podcast now as well as a printed edition.
  9. Sty Andrews? Luton? Stoke on a wet Wednesday night. Come on, Bristol, £12m for a club of your size for any player is a lottery win. Stop with the unnecessary obduracy, it's making you look like you've got small man syndrome.
  10. I can't believe the council haven't offered that long grass site to the pikeys for a pitch. The caravans, 4x4s and running ragamuffins will have that tamped down in no time so there'll be no need to cut it. Might even flush out missing Sarah when they move them there.
  11. Out of interest who would a petty person need to write to and what would they need to say? Asking for a petty friend.
  12. Good point. 6 is the new 9, anything on the bottom row is us being rinsed. Us being done done.
  13. However, I think the one thing we can take from the transfer window thus far is this schematic representation of the stages of our transfer business doneness. I give you The Transfer Toast Doneness Scale 1 is obviously a name in the ether - us "eying", if you like, where 9 is obviously ITSOTP and interview. So could all ITK now refer to what number toast we are at so we can manage our expectations? Thanks in advance
  14. You can't quit, we fired you yesterday.
  15. We're fickle words removed like that.
  16. I expect it's actually both. It certainly seemed after the playoff that Deano and he are on very good terms so I'd be surprised if at some point their respective budgets haven't been discussed in the broadest terms. Even if it was only Deano saying something like, "They're billionaires and they really aren't **** about. They've no intention of even flirting with going down again. They've got huge ambition" he'd be able to infer we are swimming in different target pools. Also, there's a right grapevine in football. Whilst he's in conversation with agents and others in the game he'll have things said to him about who we are interested in. But since he's not a shithead like Candleface, he's not going to be gobbing off about what he knows.
  17. Exactly. You're fooling no-one with your fancy evasions.
  18. So we're now well into Wednesday and it looks very much like @Delphinho123 is a fraud. Seriously, though, I'm going to experience a sense of anti-climax after all this edging if all today yields is the official announcement that Butland is done done when we have known for a week it's done already.
  19. Reported to the whole lgbtq brigade for homophobia.
  20. The first time Nixon became known to me and, I suspect many others, was a few years back when he was attached to The Mirror and got a lot of direct info on Blackburn. IIRC, he was never wrong with that stuff and he used to get some other titbits on other clubs. That's the sole basis for his Sun gig and reputation as a journo who supposedly has sources and widespread inside knowledge. Now, I don't know if he has good info on Blackburn even. Not that anyone gives a **** about them should he actually know anything about them.
  21. TBH, I wouldn't be averse to a relocation to another site in the Birmingham area. I know it's a very polarising idea and plenty of fans would get pretty narked at the idea of leaving Villa Park. However, I don't look at it any differently to how I look at homes. I've moved out of places that, despite them being perfect for a long time and held great memories, didn't meet the changed needs of the time. Lots of people do it. Some dregs have lots of kids through inbreeding and incest so need a largish house. Then through benefit cuts, the anti-social behaviour leading to the offspring being jailed and them being evicted for being filthy ASBO flypaper, they have to downsize. We call these people Birmingham City FC. Or, more accurately, the filth. And wherever they go and however many or few of them there are, they will always be the filth because that is their history and that is their future. Others live in a grand Victorian manor, are well held in society, are productive socially, entrepreneurial and hugely successful, become very, very rich and are very, very fertile so they have lots of offspring. We call these people Aston Villa Football Club. However, they find that even their huge and grand Victorian manor isn't large enough for their current and future needs and the area has gone down the shitter. So they decide to build themselves a mahoosive palace a few miles away to accommodate their burgeoning family and their new friends. And wherever they go and however many of them there are, they will always be Aston Villa Football Club because that is their history and that is their future. Let's be quite clear. I'm in no way advocating a move of any significant distance, acting like some US franchise, like Wimbledon going to Milton Keynes by moving more than a few miles from Aston. However, going to somewhere with a big space and good transport routes in has a lot to recommend it.
  22. Me neither. I suppose it is a combination of faith in his abilities and coachability for improvement and maximising any return we get for him.
