  1. Rotherham back Infront Vs Millwall
  2. Plymouth down to 10 men. Millwall losing to Rotherham may bring them back into the battle too. They'll manage it again won't they?
  3. Stoke equalise Vs Huddersfield, SHA out of the relegation zone. Blackburn 3-0 up Vs Sunderland though
  4. Blackburn winning 2-0 Vs Sunderland. Takes them from 19th to 16th and 5 points clear of the drop. They haven't won in 9 games before today and have a tough run in. (Soton, Bristol, Leeds, Sheff Weds, Cov, Leicester) Those 5 points could be crucial to them staying up (and sending Blues closer to dropping than ever)
  5. They're the better team though, back to 1-1 now. Hopefully get themselves back into form ahead of SHA on the weekend
  6. Branthwaite and Onana almost certainly get sold this summer. I imagine both end up at the elite clubs, but Onana would be nice to fit into our midfield to give Kamara and maybe Dougie a rest at times. He'll be too expensive for that role though unfortunately. Not sure anyone else is worth taking. Pickford will inevitably be linked when Emi is linked with a move away but wouldn't be super excited about anyone else they have to be honest. Patterson could be smart if KKH isn't deemed as up to it maybe?
  7. Except our losses are not all PSR related losses. Plus we aren't fighting relegation. Evertons we know from their charges were above the PSR threshold already and now they've gotten worse. It's probably more likely these are punished next season, but there's no point comparing our losses and theirs. Thanks for the sarcastic response though
  8. He's pure chaos and I love watching him when he comes on.
  9. I've always been totally against leaving Villa Park, there had been no need, we had a fantastic old stadium, with good capacity and there has always been clear ways to update it to bring it in line with modern requirements. But the truth is, the transport is a huge problem and it's largely out of the club's control. The stadium can be as great as can be, there can continue being under-utilised space that makes it a better candidate than many existing Stadiums in the league to be modernised within its existing footprint (or have the footprint expanded with the land we own or can acquire)... But if it's impossible to get people in and out, then it's all a waste and we'll have to move. It'll be a sad day to leave, because I love Villa Park and there's a lot of reasons why we should never be forced out of it by any owner. But if it's such a slog to get there and back home again, making it unpalatable to increase capacity further what would we be fighting to keep really?
  10. Much much better. We have to score before they punish us on the break. A goal before 75' and we win this
  11. Just don't think that wins us the game. We're playing against Land of the Giants. We need to create from open play and get in behind
  12. Fairplay to Unai, hasn't dug his heels in on his strategy like both Gerrard and Deano would have. Halftime changes sorely needed and difficult to disagree with either
  13. Also important we don't lose sight of the injuries. Even leaving aside Mings & Buendia who would've had an impact to make all season - Kamara, McGinn and Ramsey could easily have been our starting midfield today to give Luiz The break he clearly needs
  14. Yeah this is true. That said, had we not stuttered in the way we did Vs both in 3/4 games we'd be home and dry in 4th pretty much and not really competing with them. Can't always expect those results to go our way, but the United 2x losses in particular were frustrating because we should've won both. Anyway, this game isn't lost yet, I fully expect a response in the second half
