To be honest, I would play Guzan for the Home Leg vs Bradford and the Final* as dont you need 3 appearances to win a medal? Kind of feel like it would be harsh if the only bit of success we got this season was The Capitol One Cup and Guzan, who many could argue as our player of the season, was ineligible for a medal. Given has played vs Swindon, Norwich and Man City (and probably Bradford away) Guzan has played vs Tranmere. *If we get there.

Think Given will get all the Cup games bar the Final (if we get there). Other than that it's all Guzan imo, or at least it should be, until Guzan starts throwing them into our net he's earned his spot and theres no point dropping an in-form Goalkeeper.

Was expecting a horror-tackle going off of the severity of the injury but it just seems to snap as he lands from a jump. Bizarre. Must have absolutely killed though. Poor lads contract runs out at the end of the season too, he's gunna have a lot of work to do to get his career back on track after that.

Obviously wouldnt work but if there was a thread where supposed ITK's would have to post who/what their source is and only the Mods could see it then they could say 'yes' or 'no' to each one depending on the reliability of each source. That said you'll struggle to a) get people to divulge a real source b ) mods probably wont know who is/is not reliable. Or... a running counter of how many reliable ITK's you've posted. Everytime you post something claiming you've heard something has happened it gets marked as an ITK post. If it comes off and you were right you get 1 Reliability Point. If it doesn't you get 1 Unreliable Point. Then perhaps special 'ITK' tags for people who have posted say 10+ reliable ITK posts. And 'Dirty Lieing Bastard word removed' Tag for those who are overly unreliable. And until something is or is not confirmed the rest of us have a truce on the amount of abuse we give to anybody who is tagged as neither.

Yeah his transfer stuff is normally spot on. His opinion stuff is bollocks imo but he isnt normallly far wrong when it comes to our transfers.

I know it's likely bollocks but it should get the conversation moving again... over the last hour @Villa_Source has linked: Us with a move for Stefan Reinartz (Leverkusen) - Calls him a CB/DM, which technically he is, but according to WhoScored.com all 18 of his appearances this season have been made in midfield. Where he has averaged 3 tackles per game, 3.7 interceptions per game, 2.6 clearances per game. Very good stats, but is he really going to want to leave 2nd placed Leverkusen for us? I still think (similar statted) William Kvist would be more likely from Stuttgart if we're targeting Bundesliga DM's. Us with a loan move for Scott Parker- but says AVB is only interested in a 'cash deal'. Why we would target Reinartz and Parker I dont know, but I'll take either. Can't see Scotty coming here, a move back to West Ham would surely be more likely with them going all out to sign as many high-wage players as possible. Us with Alfred Finnbogason, James Henry, Dale Stephens, Kelvin Leerdam - calling these his 'targets' going into the window. QPR with Bent - Saying they have enquired about him but have yet to put in an offer and that we are willing to listen. We just so desperately need 4 quality players in. Im just worried it isnt going to happen, im not convinced on this Leerdam as our number 1 DM, i want somebody with experience, whose playing well in a top 5 league who can slot straight in. By all means I've been pleasantly surprised by Lowton and Benteke - hopefully Leerdam could do the same but im not convinced. I knew Westwood would be our best midfielder and he's living up to that. I really want Kvist from Stuttgart, he'd slot straight in, we have a good history with Scandinavian players and think ------------Kvist ---Westwood-Stephens Is a good base for us to build from with a more flair player infront of them.

Darren Bent is not Robin Van Persie.

We overpaid, unless Bent came here and turned out to be Falcao we were never going to get our money back. Yes he's got a good record but we cant afford to keep him, we're desperate to sell, he's our highest paid player and struggles to make the bench, so he's clearly going to be unhappy and we desperately need the funds to spend on new players. All those things are not exactly going to push his price up. Think he'll go for £10m unless teams start panic-buying and we get a bidding war on our hands.

I still think they will turn it around when Cabaye and Ben Arfa return, they have a quality team and they could easily have gotten a equaliser yesterday. With Debuchy and (possibly) Remy still to join this window they simply cannot get relegated once those injured return. I would **** love it if they did though. I will love it if Newcastle go down. To stay up QPR need to win two, maybe 3 more games than us, Southampton, Wigan and Reading between now and the end of the season. Totally doable, last thing we need is them building confidence.
